An excellent Chalet getaway, close to Bordeaux and Saint Emilion. The hosts were fantastic, and I suggest you dine here at least one night. Enrico is an amazing chef.

Wow! From the moment we drove through the gates and were welcomed by Valentino, we were blown away. The property is stunning from the outside but is surpassed by what the owners have done to decorate the inside. Each room is breathtaking and the service of nightly orderves left us totally impressed. The final piece de resistance was the amazing meal that Val served up to us, complete with specially selected wines. We were so grateful for the assistance we were provided with arranging our daily visits to nearby attractions as well. We don’t get to France much but we will be visiting again whenever we can.

Château Tanesse de Tourny is nothing short of a fairytale. As we approached, the grandeur of the château took our breath away , and the perfectly manicured gardens create a scene that feels timeless. The property is impeccably maintained, with centuries-old charm carefully preserved, yet all the modern amenities are thoughtfully integrated for guests’ comfort. The interior is just as spectacular. Each room has been curated with a sense of history and style, from the opulent chandeliers to the delicate, antique furniture. Every corner of the château tells a story, and you can’t help but feel you are living a part of it. Our bedroom was spacious, luxurious, and filled with natural light, offering a perfect blend of romantic charm and modern comfort. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, were the owners, Valentin and Enrico. Their warmth and hospitality are unparalleled. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel not like guests, but like family. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, offering local insights, arranging wine tastings, and even preparing a delightful home-cooked meal with fresh ingredients from their garden. Their passion for the château and the surrounding region is contagious, and they generously shared fascinating stories about its history, adding layers of meaning to our visit. I miss them already! I can’t wait to return to this beautiful experience!

We loved our stay here! Enrico and Valentino were wonderful hosts who looked after us beautifully, ensuring our stay was comfortable, unique and with a homely charm. The chateau itself is beautifully decorated and in a great location for day trips around the Bordeaux region. We highly recommend a stay here!

overlooking hectares of vines , the owners of this beautiful chateau have imbued it with its own unique and exotic style. Our room was large and bright with double shuttered windows that looked out toward the river.The bathroom with very generous shower, was well set out. The king size bed was extremely comfortable, we slept well. Downstairs the lounge and dining areas were stylishly in keeping with the rest of the Chateau. However the real star of the Chateau is co-owner Valentino, charming, interesting and always obliging. His knowledge of the area was always super useful and his drinks on the terrace in the late afternoon and his fabulous breakfast will be remembered long after we return home.

Excellent stay. Valentino and Enrico the owners were amazing. It was a delight to go downstairs each morning to help ourselves to a fabulous breakfast, and then to come home each evening to a special aperitif. Valentino created daily itineraries for us. Could not fault the place. The chateau was beautiful, and the surrounding villages were interesting to walk to.

Me and my wife had unbelievable experience while staying in the Chateau Tanesse de Tourny. Owners Valentino and Enrico treated us like royalty. Service was impeccable, food, wine, cheeses, deserts were excellent. Breakfast every morning was to die for, thanks to Enrico and Valentino. Valentino created for us day by day itinerary to visit different places, including St. Emilion tastings with caves visits. Organized for us private guided tour in Bordeaux. Made restaurants reservations.
