“A very relaxing cottage getaway. Great swimming and peaceful surroundings. Loved the covered deck. The kitchen was well equipped and the cottage was spacious and comfortable. No one wanted to leave.”

“This is a beautiful cottage, clean, spacious and has a good size property with many trees which allows for privacy. The waterfront is beautiful, walk in shoreline and a dock. I would definitely stay here again. The host accommodated me and made sure everything was scent free which is very nice because many rentals say it will be scent free but isn’t. ”

“This was our first cottage rental for a family of 10 getaway. Very nice setting and convenient location to nearby activities/stores.The kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed and the whole cottage provided comfort. ( beds, pillows, furniture)The sandy beach and water depth was perfect for kids. They loved it.After a string of hot days the cottage was extremely hot. Overhead fans in 3 of the bedrooms somewhat helped, but additional portable fans for the master bedroom and living room...

“This property was exactly what we were looking for! From the time of booking to the time of check out Dawn was so helpful and treated us like family. The dock access across the road was perfect for our son to fish as we sat on the beautiful deck. The house was well stocked with all the essentials and more! Great property in a beautiful location for a family getaway. We can’t wait to return next year. ”

“Overall good! Only a few issues that came up. When we arrived the cottage floor was not well cleaned. The carpet had chips from the previous users. We also had a heavy rain which caused a washout of the driveway leaving a heavy crevice in the road. The owners of the cottage were not responsive to this issue. The waterfront was wonderful though and we overall had a good week. ”

The deck and dock were great locations to have our morning cup of coffee and we even made friends with a family of ducks. We would recommend this cottage to anyone looking to get away while still being close to Port Carling and Bracebridge. ”

“We had a wonderful time. We got to see the sunrise and set every morning it was spectacular. We enjoyed the morning canoe ride, swimming. The lake is so clean you can see straight to the bottom. The whole boat house was very clean and organized. Communication was very easy. Everyone was so kind and helpful. If your looking for a wonderful getaway look no further it's a trip that is truly unforgettable! ”
