“I checked into the hotel at 4:15 pm and my room was not ready. I never received a message that my room was ready. I went back to reception at 5:20pm and there was the longest line and I asked one of the employees if I needed to wait on that huge line to get my key, and she answered YES! She did suggest to speak to the Manager which I did…I still thought it was strange that I had to go so far as to speak to the manager just to get my key when I had already checked in. The room we were first given was located right next to the elevator and the lobby bar, which caused significant noise throughout the evening. In order to move to a quieter room one floor up, we were required to pay an additional fee — something we found unreasonable given the circumstances. We had expected better service and understanding from the staff. ”
