Trots att jag mailade och berättade om strulet och att jag skulle bli sen var det stängt och låst när jag äntligen kom dit - 15 minuter efter de (enligt skylten) skulle stänga. Som tur var fanns det hotell i närheten som släppte in betalande gäster även efter kl 22.30 en fredagkväll!”

“This is the second time we've visited the Low Head, George Town area and wanted to stay at the pilot station. We were not disappointed; these charming old buildings are in great condition for their age. We had trouble with the gas heater in our unit but Jodi from the kiosk came to the rescue. The bed was comfortable; the kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment and parking was onsite and close to the unit. These units are old and have some "quirky" features at times. We would definitely stay...

“What a glorious spot amongst the vines, comfortable well equipped dome, shame the weather didn’t play along so we could use the outdoor fire. The included wine tasting is one of the best we have done, the wines are beautiful and it’s an unpretentious setting. recommend booking the food hamper. What a great idea to give a voucher to use towards the cost of breakfast at local cafes, we visited the Cabin in Exeter and in Moon Lilly in Beaconsfield, both lovely. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay....

“Lovely clean room, a peaceful location, and an easy walk to city centre. The hosts were excellent, going above and beyond - i needed to check-in early as well as a late check-out and when it looked like my taxi wasn’t going to show up they even got me over to the Spirit of Tasmania. I’m not fond of travelling solo, so being looked after by such kind, caring people is a real pleasure. ”
