“We reserved this location for a single night. While I was expecting a certain level of glamor being a fully furnished Teepee. I was not expecting how unbelievably comfortable the entire site felt. The wife and I spend a good portion of the day bird watching from the deck. After a day of hiking when it got dark, we were able to set up a telescope and star gaze. This place was far more comfortable than we were expecting. 5 stars doesn't give our experience justice.”

“My girlfriend and I stayed two nights at this property. Overall we were happy with our stay. Some recommendations we would recommend would be to weedeat around the fire pit area and outhouse area. Would also recommend putting a rug underneath the bed to keep heat contained in the colder months. Would also recommend sauce pans and a can opener for an overall better cooking experience. Also a fire pit grill would have helped to cook items on as well. We enjoyed our stay at the yurt and of course...

“This was absolutely adorable, we had so much fun and ejoyed ourselves, the bed was very comfy and the firepit was perfect.”

“We arrived in the evening and instantly did not feel safe due to lack of exterior lighting. The key was not necessary since all you need to do is open the clamp to gain access. The interior rugs were stained. There is absolutely zero internet service and we chose to not stay and instead head home.”

“We had a great time and the cabin and scenery was what we had imagined. Our evenings were peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed hiking the trails on the property and the map provided onsite was accurate. We were close to the parks to go and visit but far enough away to have the quiet we desired. We enjoyed our evening cookouts and bonfires. We had a few issues but we're able to easily resolve. The two hoses connecting to the outdoor shower had a bad connection valve. They had leaked out all the water....

“Heavenly Hideaway is a perfect name for this property. The house sits on top of a hill overlooking the beautiful meadows. We enjoyed our visit to Kentucky and the beautiful mountains. The house was clean, well equipped and exactly as described. We will definitely return.”
