  • Come for a get away at Papa’s Place!!! This newly remodeled cabin sits on a quiet, private lake, with a large main floor, master bedroom, and a loft with a pair of twin beds. You will find a fully furnished kitchen, brand new appliances, and spacious dining area. A great place for relaxing, you can take a ride around the lake in a paddle boat, fish off of the dock, or have some S’mores around the campfire. Enjoy the sunrise over the lake while sitting next to a cozy fireplace in the cold months, or from the deck in the warm months. Crank up the AC if you need to cool off! Located just off of I-75, and situated between Sault Ste. Marie and St. Ignace, it is the perfect gathering spot to enjoy all that the Upper Peninsula has to offer. Just over 1 mile from the Chippewa County Airport, and only a 15 mile drive from the Soo Locks. For the winter months, it is conveniently located within a hundred yards of some of the best snowmobiling trails in the Eastern Upper Peninsula!

Had a great time! If you were looking for a cabin, that is clean comfortable and a decent location on a beautiful lake to have a good upper Peninsula experience highly recommend papa’s place great place!

Absolutely fantastic stay at Papa's Place. The cabin was even better in person, it is so charming and beautiful! We loved being right on the lake . We hope to be back again!

We had a wonderful stay at Papa's Cabin. It was very clean & comfortable.. A beautiful little lake watching the wildlife made our stay enjoyable. Vanessa was easy to contact when we had a question. We'd definitely stay here again!

The whole property was lovely! So peaceful and relaxing. Had some giggles as we used hand soap for a shower since there was no shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.

Beautiful, quiet, upnorth getaway! If you are looking to relax, this is the vacation home for you! The cabin is very homey with many small details that make it comfortable and relaxing. It was clean and the host is very sweet and responsive. The deck overlooking the lake is so peaceful. Great for sunning, reading a book, or entertaining. I highly recommend this place!

This property is lovely and so cozy. Hosts responded quickly and were helpful and kind. We enjoyed fishing from the paddle boat on the quiet lake. No shower soap/ shampoo/ conditioner were provided so bring your own. Would highly recommended for a quiet get away.

The cabin was beautiful! Every detail was very thought out from being super clean, a well stocked kitchen, and great linens. The cabin decor, smart design, and unique touches make this a find. The lake is peaceful and we even got to see some wildlife when enjoying the deck. No TV or wifi in the cabin but you won’t even miss it. Truly a gem!
