“Overall the property was as advertised. Close to Smith Falls and Merrickville, it is situated on a small waterway that is peaceful and has seating on the dock. Price was fair for the accommodations. The icons on VRBO indicate that there are two showers but there is only one. The upstairs bathroom is a tub only. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything that we needed. We had a lovely stay.”

“This was a great little cottage. My family and I were at a family wedding near by. Cottage had all amenities, except a BBQ(although it was not one offered). The place was clean and the owner responded to any questions very timely. We did have issues closing the bathroom door and the shower heads spray was affected due to the hard water. “Another great time on White Lake! Our ladies' get-together was a success- lots of room for everyone and with an open concept kitchen, dining and living room area, it made socializing easy and fun! Lots of private space outside too. We enjoyed lounging on the dock and in the lawn chairs under the trees, used the kayaks to explore the marshes and shoreline, and on the last night lit a campfire. A great place to see the stars and to enjoy the dawn chorus! We hope to be back again!”

“If you’re looking to spend some personal time or time with family or close friends relaxing, this is a great property. Our stay was from Wed - Sunday and the weekdays were brilliantly quiet. “Poorly maintained. Had trouble u nlocking & opening front door upon arrival. Neighbour helped. Doors do not fit properly. Decking, sidings peeling & holes. Ants in kitchen. Cover on BBQ does not fit properly. Could not do any fishing due to weeds but told i could. Picture in listing disheaving. Pool table shown but no cues or balls. Chairs very uncomfortable. New, clean, well-laid-out hotel
"Very nice, looks pretty new. The room was well laid out, with a sofa and the beds. The only problem with the room was that the airconditioner was blowing right into one of the beds. Good breakfast, but very busy (the hotel was almost fully booked when we were there). Nice pool and gym. There is a restaurant called The Brew Table across the parking lot. Ate there in the evening, and it was really nice. In all, great place to stay. "
