“This is the second time we stayed at her place. She is absolutely hospitable and great host. I joked with her when she asked what she could do to Take our 2nd stay better, Milk and Cookies. Well when we got to place, there were milk and cookies. So nice! I’m ”

“This house was amazing. Pictures don’t do justice to the coziness and comfort that this house provided. Perfect for our weekend in Forest visiting our daughter at LU. Back porch and garage game room allowed us lots of outdoor time soaking up the beautiful weather and the house allowed us plenty of space to enjoy our time together. House was clean and had everything we needed as a family of 6. Beds were super comfortable and the neighbor was quant and safe. We will definitely book again. Amy was...

“The New Winter of 1947 was such an adorable country cottage, we saw deer at night and especially enjoyed the private backyard with a fire pit. Checkin was so easy and the Host response time was excellent and so nice. I loved that it was pet-friendly. Our stay was very pleasant, the Host thought of everything, anything you’d possibly need they had it! I highly recommend the New Winter of 1947 Charming Cottage and would definitely stay there again.”

“This home was probably one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in! Great location for us going back and forth to Lynchburg college to see our daughter.”

“The house was immaculate and beautiful. Michael was extremely helpful, accommodating, and responded quickly. We would definitely recommend friends to stay here.”

“Absolutely wonderful stay! Gorgeous traditional Lynchburg house with a modern interior! Great location and very clean! Cute welcome basket with little goodies. Cute binder for people not familiar with the area with restaurants and activities and attractions. The hot tub was clean and a perfect place to relax at night. The towels and toiletries provided were a nice connivence. Great communication and easy to get in and out of. Great for families! Nice and safe location in Lynchburg. Truly felt...

“Welcoming place to stay. That was a wonderful experience my family had. ”

“The property itself was not bad, but the location and the neighborhood is pretty rundown and shabby. Also and this is big, we were told check out was 11:00am but at 10:00am as we were eating breakfast a man put in the same code we had for the door and proceeded to walk right into the house!! When he realized we were in the house he said they were told they could check in at 10:00am, but we could not figure out why they had the same code as us, so be careful if you rent the house because it may...

“This place is an absolute gem!!! We loved it and will definitely stay here again! The home is gorgeous! The kitchen is beyond amazing! It was well stocked with every utensil and appliance we could have imagined! The area is so relaxing and quiet! Went hiking to the top of Terrapin Mountain (it’s a doozy!) and just enjoyed ourselves thoroughly!!!”
