“We have been coming to Lake Raystown for 20+ years to boat, camp, hike, and bike. This was our first stay at the Whippoorwill Retreat. It is a lovely home. We enjoyed the screened porch, the fire pit area and all the amenities included. We agreed to return again for sure!”

“Our family of 5 had a great weekend getaway! We were close to Shawnee State Park and not far from Old Bedford Village and Bedford itself. It was a cozy place for us to enjoy family time. The owners were super friendly!”

“The road going to the property was a little rough, ok for an SUV, but cars might have some difficulties, but take it slow, cause the end result is pretty cool. It opens up into a nice, wide vista of lush mountains & green pastures to your left, & where you'll being staying on your right. Cute as heck chickens greeted us the second we got out of our vehicle. The house we stayed in was welcoming & provided everything that they said would be there. The only thing we couldn't use was the propane...

“Host was accommodating by allowing us to have family over during the day for a graduation gathering. As the weather was iffy with rain, the home allowed us to host with ample room when it rained. The host is responsive and accommodating (allowed us to bring our own grill) and also provided an outdoor solo fire pit. Bedrooms are a nice size. Location is great with nice backyard. Comfortable home!”

“This property from top to bottom exceeded our expectations from the moment we stepped inside the Roundhouse! The home was exactly as described online and decorated beautifully! Everything from the kitchen cupboards to the three bathrooms was spotless. We immediately felt at home and took advantage of the coffee bar the owners had setup for guests. The beds were comfortable and the views were gorgeous. We will definitely be staying here again!”
