“Have stayed at Hall & Woodhouse properties previously and The Dolphin rates as highly as the the other accommodation. There is a small car park which was a bonus on the coast and the room had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. We had an evening meal and breakfast, good quality food and helpful staff.”

“Nice location and property”

“A reminder that you don’t get a lot for your money these days. Twin room - cheap narrow beds, very noisy plumbing system in the room and from other rooms, noisy outside, tiny shower. Included breakfast not worth mentioning.”

“Jättetrevligt ställe mycket bra rum även om golvet knarrade rejält… trevlig personal mycket god frukost.”

“A very disappointing stay. We booked a deluxe sea view (with large bay window) double or twin room via Expedia. On arrival at the hotel we did not get the room we booked and paid for. According to Expedia’s description and photographs the room we were given was a STANDARD double room for SINGLE occupancy. As the hotel was fully booked we had to tolerate this very small room with four steps up to the bathroom and really not enough room for two people. The room in no way bore any resemblance to...

“The staff so helpful”

“The room we had was clean and tidy with clean towels etc. We did fine some sweets and a tablet under the bed when I dropped my own tablet but otherwise, clean. One wall light appeared to not work but not a problem to us. The staff throughout were friendly and helpful. There is a well stocked bar with national brands as well as more local ones. Beer is a lovely place where you can relax and life slows down if you want it to.”

“I’ve stayed at the Mason’s Arms twice now, and both times it’s been exceptional. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable and warm, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is fantastic. I’ll go out of my way to stay here in future.”

“Mkt trevlig vistelse. Gym, pool, golf-range. God mat. Perfekt på alla sätt! ”

“We loved the place, cozy, clean and pretty with a great location. Excelent breakfast and dinner. Very nice staff.”

“Mycket trevligt genuint hotell med bästa läge i Sidmouth och direkt vid havet. Stråland havsutsikt. Riktigt fin och bra engelsk frukost”

“Ett helt fantastiskt B&B! Fina, rena och fräscha , personligt inredda rum. Servicen var av högsta kvalitet. Värdparet tar sig dessutom tid att fråga vad man önskar sig till frukost. Kan varmt rekommendera detta underbart trevliga lilla B&B!”

“Friendly small hotel. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was really good too.”
