“This was a first trip to Maine and we were unfamiliar with the area and not sure what to expect. We enjoyed the drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. I wish we had more time to spend in Belfast. The downtown area is so cute and we loved the local brewery! If I had it to do over again, I would have skipped Bar Harbor and stayed right in Belfast. I definitely recommend this property. “The cabin is beautiful, well equipped, and an easy drive to Belfast. Communication with the property managers was excellent. Belfast is very nice and the walk along the river was just excellent. Aside from groceries we only did window shopping which was abundant. I marked the location three stars as the woods, as you would expect, were very buggy with very many ticks. Not a great spot for dogs. Otherwise very nice and we enjoyed our stay.”
