“Very poor directions. Very cold at night without sustainable heat. Left a day early due to cold. Very defensive and insulting host.”

“Nice room, quiet location. Check in was okay. No problems until morning complimentary breakfast. Ordered breakfast at the on-site restaurant, staffed by the family that runs the property. Was asked for room number, then told I had to pay $26 for items that only added up to $19 on their posted menu. When I pointed to the statement printed on the menu that indicates every paying guest gets a complimentary entree, I was told that it only applied to some guests, since some pay more for their rooms...

“The Lupine Inn could be such a nice place, but it’s neglected and unkept. The carpet in our room was filthy, sink and mirror had not been cleaned and the bathroom floor was dirty. A lightbulb was burned out above the sink and never replaced during our stay. Everything is old, including the mattresses so they’re very soft and lumpy. The lobby is dirty, everything is dusty and it looks like the vacuum hadn’t been run in weeks. The hot tub was not useable, it was empty and disgusting. Workout...

“The cabins are cozy and clean. Air conditioning was a plus. Bathrooms are in separate cabins and are kept very clean. Blackstones and outdoor kitchen to cook on. Fire pit was a plus as well. Very nice for the price. I would definitely stay here again!”

“Staff was very nice and helpful, cute little town. Very small and limited amenities, which makes it special. Beautiful area. But cabin needs updating badly ”
