“Great place and perfect for a guy to get away from it all, or take all the wildlife found in this area. Well-located near Phelps Lake and the Pungo Unit. It is isolated, so a visit to the grocery store on the way in will save you time if you think you will be going out for groceries later. I thoroughly enjoyed Birthday House. The host was very responsive, and the amenities were great. ”

“The house itself was clean overall except some weird food remnants on the ceiling in the kitchen. However, the minute one opened the front door, the smell of stale cigarette smell smacks you in the face. We immediately contacted the owner who gave a slight refund. If this was not in such a rural area, we would not have stayed even as long as we did as we are non-smokers. At 3:30 in the morning, I woke up with a huge head ache and sore throat from the unhealthy air in the home. I contacted VRBO...

“The hotel is in very poor condition. There is no closet in the room. It definitely shouldn't be on your website with a 4.6 rating. We didn't stay there. As soon as we saw the condition of the hotel, we cancelled.”

“This is an older motel, parking right at the door to your room, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I needed a place to sleep for the night for work in the area and this location was perfect for what I was looking for. As mentioned this is an older motel that could use some renovation, but it was also one of the lowest nightly rates in town so I found it to be a good value for the money. If I find myself needing a room again in the Washington, NC area I would definitely stay here...

“Little Inn on Main is a quaint Inn & convenient to everything. Parking is conveniently located at the back & very near the building it was easy to unload / load luggages to vehicle. The room was clean, it had sufficient extra supply of towels, paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, & shampoo/conditioner, & many good recommendations in the bookbinder located in the room. There is a coffee shop next door with awesome choices & reasonably priced. They also carry travel supplies incase you forget...
