“We were pretty disappointed with the service at the Bistro. It took far too long to get our breakfast, the kitchen seemed unable to meet the requests of the guests in an efficient manner & were running out of key ingredients. We asked for brown bread which they were out of, then it was sausage & bacon, then they couldn't find the decaf coffee, they were out of fruit, etc., etc. The key pads to the room would work one minute then not the next minute.”

“This hotel has amazing character, it feels like a slice of history. It has the charm of an older building, but was clean and well maintained. The floors squeak a bit, so if your upstairs neighbours like to walk around, it can get a bit annoying when you are trying to sleep, but the rest of our stay was quiet enough. “This is not your typical BW. The lobby was beautiful and everything was new and modern. Great restaurant with excellent service (esp. Hailey and Alex). Great location for early departure flight the next day or late arrival to St. John’s. Every amenity you need, including frequent airport shuttle and great service.”
