“Room wasn't properly cleaned and made ready. Issue was resolved easily enough. It would be a nice stay in the summer but it's not easily accessible and if there are people above it can be loud. Also, the thermostat settings for a basement apartment in Newfoundland in February need to be changed. You wake frozen”

“The dorm rooms are very basic with few amenities but this is a great option for the budget minded person. I don’t think I could do more than 2 nights as the beds are just ok.”

“Friendly staff, convenient location on the outskirts of downtown (uber was $10 or $15 to all the notable sites), and the room rate included a voucher for two breakfasts at the attached tavern - breakfast was hearty and delicious, Room was on the ground floor, external entrance (like a motel), beds and pillows were comfortable. It’s not the Ritz but we loved our stay and would highly recommend if you don’t need to be walking distance to everything.”
