“This is one of the best rental homes I’ve ever had! Good location for exploring the area. Found a nice beach and fun fishing spot. The house as clean, well equipped, everything labeled, responsive host. You didn’t have to scramble to find paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc- it was included in ample supply. Everything so organized! Just perfect. Kids loved the outdoor amenities including the tree swing. ”

“We had a wonderful and calm two nights. My husband and I were so relaxed. The home is in a great woodland setting with privacy. The pond could be viewed just outside the front door. “There are so many wonderful things to say about this beautifully maintained property. The positives were 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, 2 refrigerators (one by the pool), ice machine, lots of seating on outside porches, large pier w/motorized lift platform to get in and out of the water, luckily a backup generator (we had a bad storm while we were there), pool is shallow and great for water walking, beautiful views from the inside and outside, great crab traps, very safe fire pit, most well equipped...

“We were booked to go to OBX, but the snowstorm changed that...so plan B! Plan B was a fantastic choice...great place to chill out, drink wine, dance and relax by the bonfire! Hosts were very quick to respond to emails, the beds were comfy and the kitchen stocked! I'd love to come back (I live in Oregon) and bring my grandsons here this Summer! ”

“Very interesting home with a lot of family history. Piano. Guitar. Amazing dining room table. Wonderful upstairs suite with other bedrooms two floors away so lots of privacy. Kitchen looked well stocked although we ate all our meals at a relative’s home. I didn’t cook at all. Beach is lovely!”

“We had a great stay. Several levels to enjoy the water view all times of day - I side, wraparound porch, yard, beach, and pier. We kayaked nearby, visited the local Deltaville museum, and took a few day trips around the middle peninsula. Very relaxing, and nice to have the kitchen and grill for home cooked seafood from the nearby market.”

“We enjoyed the house and location. The view of the water is nice and the common area upstairs was comfortable. We found the overall condition to be okay but could use some updating and stocking to better accommodate 12 people. We did not think it was very clean when we arrived. ”

“Fantastic time in Heathsville. House was beautiful and comfortable. Cozy beds and linens. Spacious rooms, all with beautiful water views. Private bay beach was heaven, even with chilly temperatures. Hosts were easily reached and accommodating. We had a concern with the stove and the hosts had a handyman there tontake cate or it within 10 minutes of contacting them. Hope we have the opportunity to stybat this property again.”

“We loved spending our girls' weekend at High Tide, a beautiful home so close to everything charming about Irvington! The bedrooms were spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with anything we needed, and we gathered around the dining room table when we weren't sitting in front of the fireplace. If the weather had been better, we would have spent time outside on the patio. We would definitely return to this perfect gem of a home! ”
