The beds were comfortable and three of them had en-suite bathrooms, making it very private for most everyone. “This was a great place to stay. The property is very interesting and historic and the renovations that were done made it very modern and comfortable. It is incredibly spacious and a great place to have a relaxing vacation. The area is also very peaceful and a great place to relax. There is convenience store nearby and a great restaurant just down the street. There’s plenty to see in the area and even beaches a short drive away.”

The only drawback was the bugs and mosquitoesThe walks on the red sandy beaches at the doorstep were incredible and watching the spectacular sunsets were memorable. “We chose this site as it is close to where we were working. However, the sunrises and sunsets at this location and in a beautiful room full of windows were gorgeous!! It would be a neat place to stay for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is also nice and all utensils we needed were there to prepare individual meals or shared meals for the four of us!!”

“The Purple House is a wonderful place to stay. Having the wharf right there was great. Watching the fishing boats coming in, the beautiful sunsets and the ability to see the tide come in was a great experience.The house is full of history. Very well equipped and if anything came up Tammy was very quick to respond. I highly recommend this house to stay at.”
