Entry into the building is a bit lacking of desirability. Once you get to the unit it’s spacious and works. Beds are good, heating units take a few to quick in, but downstairs never fully heats up. “Nous avons passés un agréable séjour. Appartement très agréable et fonctionnel. Proche commerces et vieille ville. Petit bémol : nous avons eu l’appartement en retard par rapport à l’horaire prévu dans le contrat. Par ailleurs, le lave vaisselle était inutilisable (sale et malodorant). C’est dommage parce que le reste de l’appartement était très propre. En dehors de ces incidents, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et recommandons cette location.”

“The picture looks great, but it doesn't show the bathroom. The shower is so small that you cannot bend to clean your feet. It is a very basic room (floors are just concrete), and the entrance is opening up towards the back of the kitchen of a restaurant. It says it is on the second floor, BUT you will have to climb 53 stairs to get to it. With luggage in hand - this is not easy! The mattress is two thin mattresses on top of each other. I was worried about it, but we did sleep well on it. ...

“While the property was nice, with an excellent view, there are some serious issues. It's right above a restaurant, so very loud until almost midnight. It would be fine in cool weather when you can close the windows, but in summer it gets too hot. We also had no drinking glasses and when I asked for some, they said they would get us some, but after 4 days we still didn't get them.”

“There were 3 attempts to scam me.It wasn’t these people, but in the 6 weeks between when I booked the accommodation and when we actually checked in, I was contacted on WhatsApp by people pretending to be the “concierge“, trying to get me to make payment. These people need to find a new method, because their current method is dangerous for their customers.The check-in process was unlike 90% of other places we’ve stayed. We were not told how it was going to be conducted, we were simply told to...

“It certainly has one of the best views in Annecy. I enjoyed sitting in front of the window with my cup of tea. The check in process was a bit bumpy. Vrbo correspondence had me thinking I would get an email with the check in information. But they sent me the check in information on Whatsapp. I did not expect that and so didn't see it. So, watch your Whatsapp for updates on your booking. That said, once I connected with the host on Whatsapp they were very responsive.”
