  • Escape to our cozy 1-bedroom suite nestled in a serene forest setting. Perfect for solo travelers or couples, this charming retreat features a comfy King bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and sofa bed perfect for two small children. Unwind on the private deck surrounded by nature, or explore nearby world-class biking and hiking trails, Lake Whatcom, and local restaurants and breweries. With its peaceful ambiance and modern amenities, our lower level suite is ideal for a quiet getaway or a base for outdoor adventures.

    Parking: One dedicated driveway space for this unit. Sudden Valley HOA rules require guests to park on the property only, so street and shoulder parking isn't allowed. Bringing more than one car? Message me before booking.

    Dogs welcome. Per Sudden Valley rules, dogs must be leashed and under control at all times outside.

    This is the lower level of a two-unit home, so you may hear footsteps or movement from the unit above. If you're a light sleeper, keep that in mind when booking.

We traveled with a pet so the proximity of this property to walking trails was a plus! We used this property as a home base to sleep and it fit our needs perfectly. The accommodation were clean and well cared for. The host provided a lot of small conveniences like coffee/tea, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash which was much appreciated. The host was attentive during our stay and communicated with us daily to make sure we had what we needed.

Great Host! Torrey responded quickly, and the property was very clean. Parking was pretty comfortable for Sudden Valley, where parking tends to be pretty tight.

Great little place

We enjoyed this vrbo. Small but perfect for the two of plus our small dog. Great amenities, on a quiet dead end, beautiful setting.

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was the perfect fit for our family of four, and being dog-friendly made it even better. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and had a peaceful, relaxing feel from the moment we walked in. It was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made the stay effortless. Torrey was incredibly communicative and always available to answer any questions. If you’re looking for a quiet, stress-free getaway, this is the place. Beautiful home, in extremely quiet neighborhood, surrounded by mature trees. Host was quick to answer my questions befoe and after check in. Fully stocked kitchen including a dual door air fryer. All bathroom necessities, and extra towels. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Large deck, parking right in front, and a neighborhood trail at the end of the cul-de-sac. Being a dog friendly home is the icing on this cake. Cheddar, my dog, and I will definitely be back!Kaci

Great little spot!

Overall this was a great stay. The listing was accurate and the space clean. It’s downstairs from another rental so we could hear some footsteps overhead but not too noisy. Nice shower with plenty of pressure and hot water. TV requires registering with an Amazon account but we were able to deregister it easily before leaving. Only issue we had was with check in: the information was not sent over from Vrbo but thankfully the host was responsive and we were able to get into the unit after waiting only a few minutes.
