“It was a lovely cottage on the lake. It had a lived-in feel, but very comfortable. We couldn’t get the heat on, but founds some extra blankets. It got a little chilly in the evening, but we were prepared.”

“This was an awesome place to stay and unwind. John was a great host and helped us get settled in quickly. It was nice that he provided a boat, kayak, and paddle boat to enjoy the river with. This location is very quiet and relaxing. All the conveniences of a small town are just a short easy drive away. I would recommend this vacation spot to anyone.”

“wonderful serene place to stay. What vacation is meant to be, Go out early morning on the lake and spend it with the loons, fish off the dock , excellent location to sightsee around New Hampshire , hosts were unbelievably attentive especially when the power went out one night.”

“The house was very nice and comfortable for four of us. Even though it rained each day, there is plenty of nearby shopping. We always try to do short term rentals when we travel. A couple of suggestions - the house had no wash cloths, no can opener, no salt & pepper shakers. Towels racks in the bathrooms would be a huge help. The listing indicated a hot tub and 2+ bathrooms. There was no hot tub and two full baths. There was no welcome booklet with local restaurants, points of interest, wifi...

“Staying at the Reuben Diamond house was a perfect choice for our trip to New Hampshire. The house perfectly captured the essence of New England and all it had to offer. The combination of it’s historic charm and modern comfort is tough to achieve, but our host did it perfectly! Beds were very comfortable, place was absolutely spotless, and the grounds made for a beautiful, quiet getaway. 5 stars all around.”
