“We arrived at the hotel, had a problem with one of the keys to the property, rang a number , told the person on the end of the phone, we couldn't get back into the property with the main key, just wanted the code for the master key, so we could actually enter the property,from when we got back from our day/nite out in Nottingham, but the person on the end of the phone hung up on me.lucky for us we had a key which we could open the patio doors so we could get in that way, we've stayed at this...

“A very special place to stay as this was the family home of Florence Nightingale. We stayed in two bedrooms which were the rooms that she grew up in before she went to Crimea. This is not a hotel. It’s more of a guest house with a few of the rooms rented out on a nightly basis. The property is accessed through several gates so it’s on very private land. The views are amazing of the local countryside and there’s a very beautiful garden around the house and sheep in the fields a little further...

“Great location and quiet room . The couple who own the property are both lovely and helpful. The room has all the amenities you could wish for , they have considered what a guest might want or need . You can park off street . The room was a little on the small side but adequate for one or two nights . The continental breakfast is adequate and the fresh coffee as very good . The property was full so the breakfast room was too and we felt a little bit close to other tables .”
