The large deck perched above the river makes this house stand out from other rentals in the neighborhood. Enjoy your morning coffee on the deck with the sound of the river.
Located at the outer edge of River Wild Resort in Mt Bachelor Village, this 2100 sq ft tucked away home is minutes from the heart of town, yet away from traffic. All you will hear is the sound of the river. It majestically sits on the bluff on the largest River Wild private lot in a forest setting surrounded by native landscaping & ponderosa pines.

This vacation home has a large wrap around deck with a gas barbecue for deck dining with a view of Pilot Butte & the River as a backdrop. It is also minutes by foot to a community hot tub & Deschutes River Trail. You will also be minutes away from the Bend Athletic Club, Bistro 28 Restaurant, shopping, the Mill District, downtown Bend, golf, downhill skiing, snowboarding, x-country skiing with 50k of groomed trails, snowshoeing, world class dog sledding & endless mountain biking including Phil's Trail.

Mt Bachelor Skiing & Snowboarding:

Mt Bachelor is up Century drive just 25 minutes from River Wild. Situated high on the bluff of the spectacular Deschutes River, open floor plan, mountain view from the balcony, Listen to the river from the privacy of the wrap around deck in a peaceful river view setting, community pool and hot tub, close proximity to Historic Downtown Bend, Old Mill District and 25 minutes to Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort. All of the best will be yours.

Annual visit to Bend

Last year, rented smaller house because it was just 2 of us. This year, all 4 of us were able to come. House was in perfect location with access to trail systems and easy to get to the mountain or downtown. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.

Great Location

Really liked being just a few minutes from downtown Bend and the house being in a more rural feeling location. It was great being on the Dechutes and having the River Trail for walking with our dog.

Awesome house and location

Very conveniently located and the house was nice, the only drawback was the amount of cleaning we had to do on arrival. The couch had a ton of cobwebs and most of the dishes that were put away still had food or grime on them. Aside from that, the host was really nice and the trip was fun.

Great Location and Property

We enjoyed our stay. The house and property were beautiful. The kitchen was well appointed. There are two primary suites, which is nice if you are traveling with others. The loft area (with two queen beds) picks up all noise, light, etc. from the living area but that's to be expected. The upstairs deck and wraparound deck/porch on the main level are perfect for relaxing. Location was close to everything we wanted to see and do. Thank you!

Beautiful woodsy respite

We enjoyed our stay in Bend! This home was particularly enjoyable for our weekend stay. It had great amenities for our family, particularly the back deck. We enjoyed sitting and listening to the river roll by over our morning coffee or an evening cocktail. It was in close proximity to all of our excursions, including golf at Pronghorn, fly fishing, and hiking Smith Rock, as well as jaunts into town for shopping and dinner. We only had one vehicle, and were glad we were close to town to take an inexpensive Uber as needed when we split into groups for activities. We enjoyed our visit!

Beautiful Stay

The inside of the house was very clean and very well stocked. The only uncleanliness was the outside porch furniture and tables . it was a beautiful home with a beautiful setting. We could see a couple of sections of the river below and hear it along with the wind blowing through the tall pines. We ( my siblings and their wives all over 64 years) were only disappointed that we could not have family guests over for just a dinner at the house to visit with my 95 year old parents that we took on this vacation. Loft bedroom is a little awkward for all adults staying . All things in the house worked well.

Just beautiful

So many luxuries! We were totally spoiled. Our hostess was so very welcoming, sharing her favorite places to eat and activities to enjoy. The home is beautiful and well appointed. Spring Break

We had a great time. The house is very comfortable, nestled in by the river. Walking trails galore are just outside the door and town is a short drive or walk away. Made the 30 minute drive to Mt Bachelor for skiing. All so convenient and a fantastic home to prop our feet up and watch the sunrise and sunset. Wish we had time to stay longer and will definitely go again.

One of the best vacation rentals we've experienced

This home was fantastic for our weeklong stay in Bend over the Thanksgiving holiday. The location was convenient to both downtown Bend (in one direction) and to Mt. Bachelor (in the other). The setting on the bluffs above the river was lovely, with easy access to a nice hiking trail. The house itself was spotless and fully equipped with anything we needed to cook a full Thanksgiving meal. The host, Suz, truly thought of everything. Communication from her was prompt and easy. I can honestly say this is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in. Thank you for sharing your lovely home, Suz!

Lovely and Peaceful

What a lovely and peaceful home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated its close proximity to bike and hiking trails The location offered views of the Deschutes River Canyon and beautiful sunrises. Suzanne is a wonderful host who made us feel very much at home.
