This house worked well for us overall, but it is definitely small. The enclosed courtyard for our dog was nice. The furniture is really uncomfortable across the board, but they had all we needed. Not very much lighting in the house and the overall cleanliness was hard to judge because so much of the house had outdated trim, closets, etc. So it appeared dirty. Very close to the village and walking which was great.

nice location but the home needs some improvements

I am disappointed to say that we ended up leaving after only staying one night of the three nights we booked due to how hot and stuffy it was in the home, there is no AC in the home making the upstairs loft area extremely hot and stuffy it was 97 during our stay and it probably got to over 100 in the upstairs loft area which made our kids nauseous and sick so we had to leave early, there was also an awful smell inside the home i'm assuming the water/sewer lines must need to be snaked because there was a sewage smell inside the home primarily in the downstairs bedroom after the upstairs water was ran, between the excessive heat and awful smell this home was not comfortable for us. The location however is really nice, and the deck is very convenient if you have a dog, I'm sure if the sewage lines/ smell was not present and there was some sort of AC then our stay and review would be much different. Overall I would not recommend staying here if the temps are over 80 and the source of the smell doesn't get resolved.

The property was in a convient location. The deck area and hot tub was nice. The stairs are dangerous and protrude out enough that we hit our head on the unprotected edges. The house had thick dust on all the wooden window slats, under all the furniture and dressers. The window shade by the oven was broken. Dishes were chipped. The washer/dryer combo is not adequate. The noise from the dishwasher when running it fills the house. We appreciated having the Sharc passes and swim towels. The living room furniture is comfortable but not big enough for tall people.

Great location

This house is great for a family getaway. It’s perfectly located for our teenage kids to come and go to the village and walking paths . There was plenty of extra bedding and the kitchen is stocked well. However there needs to be more towels. The washer/dryer combo machine takes way to long to wash and dry a load. You can’t put more then 3-4 small towels in the machine. The machine is in the master bedroom and it’s load while running. You don’t come to sunriver to be stuck inside so your on top of the wash cycle to make sure everyone has towels. If it wasn’t for the 4 hot tub towels we never would’ve had dry towels to shower with.

Conveniently located

I was here for a conference at the resort and this place was so conveniently located around grocery and a couple restaurants. It was nice to end the days with a short walk for dinner. Cute little place.

Weekend Getaway

This place was perfect for a girls weekend away. We were so close to the village and felt secluded all at once! We were unsure what appliances & utensils to bring and found some to be lacking, but we made it work. We also had some issues with the bathroom upstairs in the loft, but because there were only 3 of us, we just used the one downstairs. Overall, it was a great place for a quick weekend away!

Cute hideaway

I wish this could be all positive but we started out with a dirty dustpan left on the kitchen counter and bedroom closets left open. We are unsure if they finished cleaning or not. The carpets were beyond fithy, the refrigerator did not start to be somewhat cold until day two after mgmt sent someone out. Warm milk for breakfast isn’t the best way to start the day. Some of the blinds have missing and/or damaged louvres. We requested a comp or credit which was ignored by mgmt. The area where the hot tub and BBQ is was very private and nice. The seat pads were also fithy, but you can take them off. The kitchen was well stocked. The toaster is on its last leg and needs replaced. The TV kept bleeping on and off in the main living room. We believe it needs a new HDMI cord. The bedroom TV worked quite well. If it is supposed to be hot when you stay here be sure to bring fans. Luckily we brought three of our own, as there was only one located up in the loft area. I hope this helps future renters.

Loud and functional

The management responded to every single one of my concerns; however they didn’t do anything to fix any of them. The property is very small and outdated, but functional. The fridge is incredibly loud and woke us up multiple times at night. I asked the management company to help with the fridge and they told me to turn the fridge down, I asked them for further help and they did nothing. The property is good for kids, but don’t plan on sleeping well.

Not as advertised

Very clean. Bedding and all. Just a little dust on the wood stove. I don’t usually give a bad review but for the price I paid for three nights here goes. Wooden slats are broke in the kitchen and front room. Put bedding and towel over the blinds in the bedroom bc a few were missing to keep the morning brightness out. Shower door was off it’s bottom rail caused water to flow onto the floor when showering. Tub drain and bathroom sink was slow to drain. I texted with pictures of all, except the slow drains, so I would not be charged for damages. Oh, and outside garage door handle is broke. Very disappointed.

Loved the spot, be aware very basic

In general the place was great. I will say that it's very basic. We were good with that because we go to that area to be outside but beware that it is a little outdated and minimal amenities. For us it was great. No spices or anything, which again isn't a big deal just good to know if you are planning on cooking which we do. I will say the communication with Vacasa odd. We had a few issues with the internet initially and Vacasa support wasn't easy to get ahold of but they had the issue resolved by the next day.

Property is a great value for Sun River. Could use some updating/maintenance, but everything works. We had a little trouble with the HDMI to TV connection being lose, but overall had a great stay.

Location is great. House is mediocre.

When we arrived at the cabin, we were impressed with its accessible location. When we went inside, the musty cabin smell overtook us. This cabin needs some deep TLC. The place was clean but flooring, carpet, sofas, and bathroom left much to be desired. We were surprised we didn’t see any mice scurrying around. The fireplace was very nice and the hot tub was enjoyable. Currently the location is the only thing this place has going for it. I’d give it a C but it has the potential for an A+ rental if the property managers would invest in some TLC, more comfortable furniture and perhaps a new shower. Overall, this is a fun place to stay, but I only give it a 3 because it’s good but not great.

Nice place

Cabin was nice and peaceful. Only thing was the lighter for the fire place didn’t work so had to buy new one but left it there for the next group. Also no coffee filters. Bought some and left them for the next group. Hot water doesn’t stay warm long. Lots of cold showers. But overall would go back.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great time here! The condo was clean and there were plenty of towels and soap. The heat controls on the hot tub were iffy but the tub itself was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of wood for the fireplace. Easy check in and check out process. Highly recommend.

Run down but great location.

Great location. House was run down and definitely in need of some basic maintenance, several things didn’t work. The house was not clean, super dusty, chipping paint and the beds haven’t been moved and cleaned around as there was garbage left behind and dirt/dust bunnies.

Great escape

We thought this house was perfect for summer vacation. The appliances all worked fine, the hot tub was clean, despite no air conditioning the temp in the house was comfortable in the evening with the provided fans and windows open. I did have to buy plastic forks because there were only about 6 forks in the kitchen and I just didn’t want to wash silverware after every meal, and there were no garbage bags that I could find after the initial one in the can so I bought more of those also. Not a big deal. Also the temp in the hot tub didn’t regulate well, was super hot until we turned the temp down and waited about an hour. We just opened the cover about an hour before we were ready to use it, and then it was fine. But we enjoyed playing Uno on the deck after dinner and watching shooting stars in the sky from the hot tub at night. A few other small things could be repaired or updated, like the upstairs blinds, or the latch on the gate/deck, battery in the wall clock and replace the outdoor light bulbs. The sheets, towels, dishes, furniture all appeared to be as clean as I would expect. Overall a good experience. I would rent this house again for a small group. I think the spiral staircase might be difficult for small children and the small shower upstairs might be difficult for some people because you have to step up into it, but it was fine for my family. Thank you so much. We had a great vacation.

No instructions for check in til last minute. I had to email. NO AC. Should have said that.

I already sent a bad review weeks ago. It was dirty. Sick from previous guest by the bad. Carpet was dirty. Dog friendly not really. I had to sweep pine needles for any dog area. Many many issues.

Disappointing

This was by far the worst cabin I have ever rented. The downstairs bedroom furniture, dresser and night stands, were covered in dust, the carpet was filthy and smelled of urine. And there was was a big dangling cobweb in the kitchen. No scrubber for skillet. I had to buy one to clean up fried eggs. We cut our stay short by a day because of the smell. Was afraid to use the hot tub because of the condition of everything else.

Great for kids and dogs

Loved the enclosed porch with jacuzzi. Perfect for kids and dog to be able to safely move around. The spiral staircase to the loft is pretty narrow and can be tough to take a suitcase up but ok for the kids to climb up.
