Camped out for the weekend on Hotel Island on Lake Ouachita (there is no hotel on the island :) It's just the largest of hundreds of islands on this lake). This was the view of our beach and first sunset on the lake. The water here was amazing and very clear as well, which made for great SCUBA diving conditions and the little bays around the islands provided calm water for wakeboarding and other watersports. #LifeAtExpedia #Nature #Trovember

“We love that the property is clean and peaceful and the folks are friendly. The coffee is fresh every morning and amazing! We come at least once a year. What we didn’t like was discovering there is a charge for plate sharing at the restaurant!!! I did not even know that was a thing! And if you plan on getting anything to go, be prepared to be charged for every plate a service charge. Other than that, I absolutely love this place! And we will be back!”

“Cabin was wonderful, clean, comfortable beds, and all the furnishings you need for an enjoyable stay. The location is perfect near the end of the road so vey little traffic. Easy access to the lake where we parked our boat. We also enjoyed the tennis court. ”

“Very nice resort and cottage. The restaurant has excellent food. The host was very responsive when we had an issue with the coffee pot on the first day. Make sure to bring all your staple items for cooking. With this being a resort, there are almost no basic supplies that you find in some VRBO's, they did provide soap and shampoo. We would not hesitate to visit again. ”
