Hotell nära Berkshire Retreat Center

“The price was right -- much cheaper than most hotels today. I stayed there because it was very close to relatives I was visiting unlike other hotels on Route 4. Made for easy visit with little driving on unfamiliar roads. I liked the early 20th century / late 19th century decor and look and feel. Game/community room was small but nice touch. Where could it be better? (1) Musty smell in hallway outside my room -- not sure why -- much of building was fine (2) Lack of washer/dryer/laundry...

“Ok hotel for a business trip.”

“Spacious room. Very friendly staff. Most everything at breakfast was wrapped in plastic and served on plastic. Area feels a bit deserted next to the highway and some big parking lots. It’s close to the city centre but I didn’t feel like walking even ten minutes in the dark.”

“Nice Hotel with a good restaurant and friendly service. Valet parking easy and available Well worth the stay”

“Fantastiskt ställe i lite bedagade kvarter. Nästan värt ett besök till Albany bara för en natt på Morgan state.”

“The property was clean, which is my priority. The staff/?owner was lovely. However, even though shevsaidv, "call for anything" she never returned my call. (There was no bath mat or anything to put on the floor when getting out of the shower). Would we stay ther again?, maybe.”

“Great service and easy access. ”

“Good sized room. Ok breakfast. The room was clean but the bathroom was not. There was urine stains on the toilet and the bathtub was dirty. The staff seemed miserable and was a bit rude.”

“I will not stay there again, it was very sketchy. old, outdated, uncomfortable where it felt unsafe. but it was the only place available on very short notice in the area that I need to be.”

“This is not a hotel per se. It is transitional housing and not very well-maintained. No breakfast as advertised. A dresser whose drawers do not close. An air mattress. One light-weight blanket when a better one would have helped. Noisy because people live there. Heater very noisy. Not all outlets worked. Staff not rude but certainly not friendly or helpful.”
