Super location - close to U Bahn, but also walkable to sights in just a few minutes. Lovely outdoor terrace with a great view. Great amenities. Good restaurants close by. Would stay here again!

Nice area, not a penthouse

While area and communication were wonderful, the listing was a bit misleading. This is a one-bedroom flat on the top floor, not a penthouse and certainly not an exclusive penthouse. Parking onsite is also listed, which is actually not true. Street parking is available for a hefty price, if you can find a spot. Local metro is close, affordable and easy to navigate

Berlin visit

The location is superb - close to attractions, restaurants and shops.Excellent for 2 people.Beds were a bit uncomfortable and some of the amenities need upgrading ie: toilet seat.The host was very quick to respond to inquiries.

Très bel appartement

Très bon séjour dans l'appartement d'Alessandra ! Nous avons été reçu par Adam qui nous a permis une arrivée plus tôt et qui est très facilement joignable en cas de soucis. L'appartement est très lumineux, bien équipé, propre, avec une literie confortable, et sa situation en hauteur offre une belle vue loin des bruits de la rue. L'appartement est très bien situé. Quelques petites rénovations pourraient être envisagées mais nous sommes très contents de notre séjour ! séjoniveaubs de

Great location

This place is in a fantastic location. So close to everything you can walk. It does have everything you need. However there are a few things to work on. The shower is disconnecting from the wall, it’s rusted through. The futon is uncomfortable to sit on as a couch. The dining chairs are so small and hard they too are uncountable so we brought in the outside chairs. The bed is good but needs new pillows.

Basically good but could be improved.

Very good location and the apartment was a good size; however, the general décor and facilities could be improved; broken shower, TV didn’t work, cracked mirror, curtains hooks loose, etc. There was also a strong smell of tobacco in the apartment that took a couple of days to clear.Overall, it was an enjoyable stay as the location is excellent and apartment was basically good but it didn’t give a good impression on arrival and I do think the price was a little high given the tired furnishing and décor. Regarding the check-in, I’d suggest the owner makes clear that they communicate via Whatapp for the check-in (and not just assume that everyone uses this app).

Great location

The apartment was small but clean and efficient. 10 min walk to grocery store, about 6 minutes to the Stadtmitte subway. Many excellent restaurants within blocks. We had a perfect stay in Berlin. We had perfect weather so never needed to check out the heat/ac. In fact, we just had the windows open - not even noisy despite being so central.

Interesting experience

Location great. Elevator a lifesaver. Poor connection with man with keys upon arrival. Was not informed parking on street cost Euro 4.00 an hour!!! Stove didn't work - NO Instructions. NO microwave. NO info on recycling. One of glass doors on Schrank in bedroom was cracked. Shower didn't function properly. We survived, but will NOT return to this apt.

Excellent VRBO

Communication was excellent. Very easy to access. Perfect location. It’s a perfect space for 2 people. 3 tops. Lovely balcony- we enjoyed it every day. The space was clean, bed comfortable.. I ran the marathon & it was easily walkable. Also close to subway. We had everything we needed. thank you to the host. We had an amazing time in Berlin

Fun un Unter de Linden

We so very much enjoyed Berlin-- fascinating city with a tortured and difficult history (e.g. Fascism, WWII destruction, Berlin Wall). Our visit was even more enjoyable-- with the conveniently located and comfortable apartment. It was perfect for a couple-- the kitchen had all we needed and the bathroom was clean and well kept.

Alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erreichbar. Das Apartment ist funktional eingerichtet, alles Notwendige für einen Kurzaufenthalt ist vorhanden. Das Badezimmer könnte etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit vertragen (Toilettendeckel, Duschkopf und Halterung). Sehr schalldichte Fenster.

Nice stay in Berlin

Alessandra’s apartment was exactly as advertised. It was in a good location, near public transportation, and with many restaurants, grocery stores, and sites nearby. The apartment was well-equipped, and the washing machine worked very well. It was very hot during our stay, and without air conditioning, we attempted to sleep with windows open, but it was rather noisy from activity on the streets below. Our host was very responsive at all times.

Great location for history buffs

Easy access to Stadmitte uban, makes the whole city available to you.´ The lift was welcome to get us and our luggage to the apartment. The Rewe grocery store nearby provided everything we needed.´ The neighborhood is interesting with good restaurants and sites to visit nearby.

Short Stay

We stayed at the apartment during a short visit to Berlin. The apartment was in a great location within walking distance of the subway and numerous tourist attractions. Communication with the host was easy and locating and accessing the unit was easy.

Bonne localisation de l’appartement

L’appartement est bien situé, tout près d’une station de métro. Lit confortable. Quelques ajouts rendraient l’expérience de séjour plus agréable, par exemple un petit cahier expliquant le fonctionnement du four (pour les non-européens), un couteau de chef, des couteaux bien aiguisés et une deuxième coupe à vin. Autrement nous avons apprécié l’appartement, qu’on nous a permis de prendre plus tôt que prévu pour encaisser le décalage du voyage transatlantique. Merci beaucoup pour cela!

Exklusiv war nur die Lage!

Sehr enttäuschend war die Vielzahl der gravierenden Mängel und Schäden; Badezimmer: Dusche defekt, Funktion eingeschränkt; Wohnraum: Fenster lassen sich nicht schräg stellen; Gardine an einigen Stellen ausgerissen; Steckdosen-Abdeckung lose; insgesamt ist die gesamte Wohnung renovierungsbedürftig: Wände streichen, Küche abgewohnt, Holzfurnier ausgebrochen. Plus viele Dinge, die ein als exklusiv angepriesenes Appartement nicht aufweisen sollte.

Schöne zentrale Wohnung

Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Die Wohnung ist allerdings ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen! Wir waren zu dritt, dafür ist die Wohnung entschieden zu klein! Optimal für ein Paar.

Check Point Charlie Pros and Cons

Pros. Right next to Check Point Charlie, great coffee and restaurants in the area, close to numerous public transit options (bus, subway etc), really safe keycard access (door and elevator) building on a quiet street, great communication and easy check-in. We had a few issues but they were quickly and professionally dealt with. Everything in the apartment as advertised - appliances, etc. Cons - while all as advertised, the apartment has seen better days. The shower riser was broken and the heads almost totally calcified, the chairs and sofa were very uncomfortable (but we didn’t really come to Berlin to hang out in the apartment), the wood floor is trashed (the uncomfortable sofa becomes a reasonably comfortable bed) and it wasn’t super clean. However the price and location were pretty good, and other than the shower and the tortuous seating we were mostly pleased.
