“First time VRBO users vs all inclusive or cruises, but that anxiety didn't last long. Loved the acccess to busses and ferries and the supermarket was well within reach with a bus stop right there.Christine even offered to pick up groceries and put them in the refridgerator for us, but we didn't know what we wanted and planned on eating out alot..Having a private dock and beach was a plus.Very secure and we never even locked our doors.Another very pleasant thing was how kind the locals are, young...

“Loved the house and location. Kitchen was well appointed for meal prep. The view of Harrington sound was Fantastic. Use of the kayaks was a major plus. I recommend cruising to the cove on the east end, excellent fish sightings. We were able to swim off the dock and the nearby public dock which was only a few yards away. Grocery stores were close by. Cornell was a great host. We would easily stay there again on our next visit.”

“Overall a lovely stay. The boathouse is perfectly located. Fun to have the waterfront beach area with kayaks and sups. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen and bathroom. We had a bit of a rainy time this week, but the covered patio was perfect to enjoy the Sound views. Thoroughly enjoyed our second visit to BDA after honeymooning here thirty years ago. ”
