The rocking chairs on the porch makes me think that Andy and Opie may be coming by. But the best part was the landscape and how peaceful it is."

"My husband and I stayed at this cabin while visiting The Ark and other attractions in the area. It was perfect for us in every way. Very quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. The cabin was very clean upon arrival. Although we did not do much cooking, it appeared all cooking utensils were provided. Donny was a wonderful host and checked with us every day to see if we needed something. This place is a 👍"

"Amazing and relaxing stay! Place was beautiful, clean, and peaceful. Bunnies and horses greeted us as we arrived and throughout our stay. Keyless entry was convenient and owner was communicative and friendly. Even though I would recommend this place, I would say one downside is the location of the property. I have motion sickness and the drive to and from the location included lots of windy back roads for 20+ minutes which made me sick. Additionally, the closest convenience store is 15...

"This was a great location for visiting the Ark Encounter. Perfect size for our family of 4, giving each teen kid their own space. We’re used to one bathroom so that wasn’t a deal breaker, but it’s rather on the small side. We appreciated the text a couple hours before check in giving our access code, providing us with a point of contact for our stay."

"This was a clean and accommodating cottage on an absolutely beautiful farm property. The sunsets were amazing! It was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the cows, pigs, barn swallows by day and frogs and fireflies by night. Very convenient location to the Ark Encounter. We enjoyed eating at Beans cafe & bakery for breakfast. We would highly recommend this beautiful little gem in the countryside."

"Landers Lakehouse is a very quiet and peaceful getaway. My only issue was the dog that was always around. We couldn’t eat outside as planned as the dog was always wanting food. Other then that very peaceful and relaxing."

"Location was quiet and peaceful. Floors very uneven in house throughout. Shower small and tight. Light switches were difficult to figure out what worked what and where! Light switch in one bedroom worked lights in one other bedroom. Kitchen ceiling light switch was not found at all. Gas grill had not been cleaned so we did not use it. Steep bank down to dock, difficult to navigate even with rocks they had placed as walk way. Just disappointed as the location was so serene."

"I decided that a home rather than a hotel was a better idea for our vacation and came across this lovely little place. I could not have made a better choice. It was so nice to have the space all to ourselves and the peace and quiet experienced was so relaxing. We truly felt at home. Although it is a bit of a drive to get to someplace like WalMart or any restaurant, delivery via Instacart and Uber Eats is also an option. "Where to begin... This cabin is very rustic. It is not for the faint of heart. But oh the feeling of home you get when you walk in!!! Ms. Judy is an AMAZING host and woman. She met me at the property, gave me the tour, then said good bye. She did check in to ensure i had what i needed! And was quick to suggest the best places for "local" cuisine!! If you need a place and space to refresh your soul, THIS IS THE PLACE!! The porch was as cozy as the rest of the cabin; a great place to enjoy coffee...

"A total of 5 adults stayed here. The house was in a beautiful country setting. There were also cows, goats, dogs and cat on the property. We were visiting The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. It is a 20 minute drive to the Ark , a little further to the museum. The house was fairly equipped with basic supplies. There were a few small stores nearby to pick up some perishable food items.
