Where will I be?

Acorn Cottage is perfectly located on the main street of Berry (Queen Street). Just a short walk from Berry’s cafes, restaurants and bars, you can enjoy a meal or drink or two, and stroll home to your beautiful cottage! Gerroa or Seven Mile Beach are approximatley 7-10 kiliometres away.

Acorn Cottage is a perfect choice for a family getaway or for groups of friends wanting to spend time together. The cottage is in a peaceful, private setting with low noise due to it being set back. The three bedrooms are spacious and have luxury linen. The master suite has a walk-in robe and ensuite. There are multiple living areas and a private pool means you will have everything you need for your South Coast getaway, while being just moments from all the best that Berry has to offer!

How is the property laid out?

Enter through the welcoming front verandah with a cosy lounge to your left. The hall takes you through to a spacious, light-filled kitchen, complete with a Smeg Euromaid Dual Fuel Range Cooker and the main living area with a Smart TV. The master bedroom with ensuite sits privately to one side, while two additional bedrooms and the main bathroom are located together on the opposite side of the house. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer for your use. Sliding doors from the living area open to an alfresco deck and a sparkling pool.

WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it?

Acorn Cottage provides complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. Please bring your own streaming service log ins to watch on the smart TV in the living room.

Please also note that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan.

What about outdoors?

Acorn Cottage has a beautiful covered outdoor dining area that overlooks the plunge pool. You will also find an outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after a trip to the beach. The yard is fully fenced, with an electric gate across the driveway.

Staying warm or keeping cool?

Acorn Cottage has ducted heating and cooling throughout for year round comfort. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms, living area and in the outdoor alfresco area. For the cooler months there is a combustion fireplace in the open plan kitchen, living and dining area and underfloor heating in both bathrooms.

What about sheets, towels and other supplies?

High quality sheets and towels are provided at Acorn Cottage. Please bring your own beach towels for visits to Gerroa or Seven Mile Beach.

Parking for cars, boats etc?

There is parking in the double garage, as well as extra parking on the driveway.

Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

Acorn Cottage is pet friendly, subject to the following rules:

- Please do not allow wet or dirty dogs in or through the house.
- Absolutely no dogs on the furniture or in the bedrooms
- If your dog will be inside during your stay please provide their bedding.
- Please bag and dispose of doggy waste appropriately.
- Please consider that not all guests bring dogs on holiday and we want everyone to enjoy a clean and fresh home.
- Please clean up dog hairs or anything else inside the house before your departure.

What are the minimum stay rules?

Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
Easter: 4 nights
Long Weekends: 3 nights
All other times: 2 nights

Are there any special Summer Season rules?

Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
