“Fint hotell som låg jättebra utifrån resans syfte. Helt ok frukost och personalen var otroligt service minded. Ett plus för gratis parkering då vi hade hyrbil hela resan. Härligt spa område som också ingick i priset. ”

“Well managed low budget hotel. Everything in the room was ok, I had a very minor issue that was fixed immediately. Toast, coffee, waffle, cereals for breakfast. Recommended if you just need an affordable place to stay and have reasonable expectations. ”

“I will start with the positive. We got massages and the spa was nice. The massages were good. The steakhouse was wonderful and the manager there, the waitress and the staff throughout Oglebay were really good. Now for the not so good: We were there for our 40th anniversary, which they had in their system, but we were given a room in one of the lodge wings that only had a view of the wall belonging to the next building of rooms. “Not clean. Tub doesn’t drain. Non smoking rooms still smell like smoke. Breakfast is toast. Things are falling apart. Just dirty in general. Pillows sucked. Blankets sucked. Burn holes in the sheets. Mold growing on curtains. ”

“Unfortunately, the age of this motel is showing to the extreme. Bed was lumpy at best, no place to put a suitcase except the floor or bed, no Kleenex. I feel badly for owners that do not have the funds to improve or update their property.”

“The property seemed somewhat run down although the room was clean. The internet wasn't working in some rooms, including mine. I was told I could use the internet in the breakfast room, in the main part of the building where the check-out counter is. So I only had internet when I left my room. The phone didn't work in my room. The tv worked so I found some good shows to watch and that got me through with a smile on my face. I liked the smell of the soap in the room and I liked the 2 bed...
