“It's a normal farmhouse with good hospitality. But I heard snoring and TV sounds from other rooms, as it's just a house. If you don't have a car, walking to the main town of Assisi might be a challenge due to the uphill walk, but it was fine with me, as it took only 15 minutes. With complimentary breakfast, this will be the most affordable option for many if the location is not a big issue.”

“The staff do their outmost to cater for their guests every needs, are very helpful and friendly. The Bed and Breakfast lies at the very bottom of the mountain and it is a very steep uphill walk to central Assisi. There are no food shops close to the B and B, which makes it a difficult stay without a car, and especially to stay there with children (as I did). However, the B and B is close to the beautiful, spiritual and tranquil place of San Damiano, which we visited many times, and the hotel...

“Our stay was extraordinary. It was our third time in Assisi and we decided to explore this remodeled Palazzo. Centrally located in town and just a few minutes walking from the center plaza. You can walk to all the important sites, stores and restaurants from this property. The staff at the Palazzo treated us so nicely and were so attentive to our every need for our family of 8 (including a baby ) during our 5 day stay. We are so grateful to Herminia, Rita and all of the others that took care of...

“The host was very attentive to the guests and welcoming. The guest areas were always clean and tidy. The breakfasts were good and there was a slight change of menu each morning and food was more than adequate. If you wanted a quiet break away particularly ideal for hikers but a car would be useful if not or easily arrange for a taxi. This B&B is an excellent choice at a reasonable price. Personally I would visit it again.”

“Kind hosts, but the hotel is located below the old city. Busses are unreliable, best to walk to the mini metro that takes you up. The mini metro has a stop near the railway station.”
