Poorly maintained property which felt grubby. My room had a sash window broken so couldn't open it. Only good thing were the bath towels and good mattress. Pillows awful. Make sure you don't have a room on the front of the hotel as the noise from the road is continous through the night. I would not stay there...

“Looks can be deceptive. I needed an overnight stay on my way to London and booked a night's stay in this pub with rooms. Easy to park and had a warm friendly welcome and offered a decent sized room well appointed and clean. No food was available, however, only a short walk from several other pubs serving food and good restaurants who can look after you. Breakfast wasn't available, however, they leave some very tasty breakfast snacks for you in the room wit plenty of tea and coffee. I would...

“We only stayed one night and it was an okay enough experience, the staff were friendly and room clean, with ample parking. The amenities in the room were also good for our needs and really nice having some outdoor space. The on site pub was really nice and cosy with some board games which was nice to spend a relaxing evening playing. “I really enjoyed the service and the guy in the checking has some humor which I love. First I really appreciated the room, it looked cozy and u also commented on that, but when night fell and the lights by the bed was lit, I saw how very dirty and stained the floors where. Bug brown spots made me look for bugs but no bugs, so no worry but since the bedsheets was clean, the toilet was pristine I am a bit disappointed and a bit concerned why they did not just wet vacuum the floors once in a while?”

“We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to visit again. Our room was comfortable, spacious and quiet situated in the courtyard. Food, drinks and service in the pub and restaurant was very friendly and we felt really at home. The only problem we experienced was with the wi-fi. ”
