Millers och Rosies stugor Àr angrÀnsande sjÀlvhushÄll stugor lugnt belÀget inom den hÀrliga norra Devon landsbygden. De ligger i ett omrÄde av stort intresse och sitter pÄ kanten av den lugna landsbygden byn Woolsery, men ligger bara en kort bilresa frÄn breath taking norra Devon strÀnder och den engelska arvskusten, populÀr bland fÄgelskÄdare och vandrare. Fastigheterna ligger intill Àgarens bondgÄrd som en del av en 45 hektar stor biffgÄrd, men erbjuder mycket avskildhet i sina egna slutna trÀdgÄrdar med lekplatser för barn. De berömda surfstrÀnderna i Westward Ho! och Bude Àr en lÀtt bilresa och för familjen kul. Stora fÄr och Milky Way Adventure Parks ligger i nÀrheten. Den vackra historiska hamnstaden Bideford ligger bara 9 miles och erbjuder stadens bekvÀmligheter och bÄtturer till Lundy Island. För promenader och cykling ligger det berömda Tarka-spÄret i nÀrheten. Ridning finns i nÀrheten och det finns en lokal butik och en fisk- och kioskbutik mindre Àn 1 mil bort, inom gÄngavstÄnd. BÄda fastigheterna Àr mycket vÀlutrustade och ger en hög standard pÄ boende. Det finns gott om off road parkering. Allt lakan och handdukar ingÄr i bokningspriset. BÄda fastigheterna har centralvÀrme, barnsÀng och barnstol pÄ begÀran, Freeview TV, DVD-spelare, mikrovÄgsugn, tvÀttmaskin, torktumlare och tvÀttlinor. BÄda fastigheterna har tillgÄng till mogna trÀdgÄrdar och till den privata uppvÀrmda inomhuspoolen och Àr tillgÀnglig för anvÀndning hela dagen, varje dag. I slutet av trÀdgÄrden finns ett lekfÀlt för barn med klÀttra / glid och trampolin. TrÀdgÄrdsstolar för att du ska kunna luta sig tillbaka och koppla av i de vackra omgivningarna. WiFi-Ätkomst i bÄda fastigheterna. PÄ gÄrden finns ett antal olika typer av fjÀderfÀ och pÄfÄglar för att se om du Àr intresserad. Husdjur kan tas emot men endast efter överenskommelse med Àgarna. Rosies stuga Àr en barnkonvertering som rymmer 4 personer. Den har tvÄ sovrum; en dubbel med eget duschrum och ett dubbelrum med dusch i rummet. Det har en separat familj badrum belÀgen nere, som har nyligen renoverats 2014. Loungen har en elektrisk eldvÀrmare, TV med Freeview och DVD-spelare. Köket renoverades nyligen 2014 och har ett matbord och stolar. Det finns tillgÄng till tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare i ett separat förrÄd och det finns ett grÀsmatta med trÀdgÄrdsmöbler, tvÀttlinje och barnens lekram tillgÀnglig för stugorna.

Family Vacation

Very frienly owners. Good indoor Pool for raunt day swimming. Multiple activities for children. 15 minutes Drive to the Beach. We had a wonderful stay - too Short.

A wonderful stay with everything we could want and more!

We had the most wonderful, memorable stay. The location was great and we enjoyed many lovely local walks and activities. The cottage and farm were a total dream for the kids (and grown up) the trampoline was great fun, plus the swimming pool which was always just us 4 (and had lots of play things!) The kids loved feeding the chickens and quails and seeing the peacocks. The games room was well kitted out and great fun so plenty to do back at base on a wet day! Also netflix available and spacious rooms. The house has everything it needs including enough loo roll, washing up liquid etc (this stuff makes a difference!) plus the cream tea on arrival was the icing on the cake. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and Christina was such a wonderful host.

Great holiday accommodation

This is a delightful property and our host was extremely helpful and friendly. We took our grandsons (aged 7 and 11) and were able to show them quite a lot of Devon. A big success was the heated swimming pool which they loved as well as the trampoline etc. Everything was great in the cottage and everything we needed. If fast broadband is a must you might struggle as with many rural areas it isn’t fast. However we highly recommend this property.

Beautiful holiday home

We were greeted by the friendly host, Chris who showed us around. We found Rosie's cottage exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and there were plenty of towels. The location was lovely and quiet and in a great position for visiting local attractions. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay

We had a great stay here. The location feels like the middle of no where which we love but it is actually central to a number of great places. We went to Bude which the kids loved for using their boogie boards. Hartland beach was beautiful and Clovelly is a must see! Plenty of activities for the kids. The pool and play room available onsite where a great added bonus. Absolutely lovely hosts!

Fabulous stay

Great accommodation, the pool and games room were perfect for our young teens. Lovely local area, the chip shop was the best fish and chips we’ve had in a long time. We visited Clovelly and the near by waterpark, both were well worth the visit. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Looking forward to visiting again

Stunning countryside barn with great facilities

Myself and my 2 children (10 &14) had a lovely stay at Rosie's cottage. The cottage was clean, beds were comfy, everything you need in the kitchen. The cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch. The swimming pool was a perfect temperature and could be used whenever we wanted. The peacocks in the garden kept my youngest occupied along with the trampoline. The cottage is close enough to Bideford, Westward Ho etc but out of the way in a small village. The hosts were very welcoming and were on hand if we needed them. This is a beautiful cottage in a lovely location and we will definitely stay again.

A lovely stay in a great location

We were met at the property with a welcoming smile, and all the bits and pieces to make a cream tea were waiting for us in the kitchen. The property itself is quaint and comfortable - the ideal venue for a few days with friends - and the heated indoor swimming pool was a welcome addition to whatever else the property had to offer. The location is ideal for visiting the delights of North Devon - including Clovelly, Hartland Quay and Bideford - and just down the road in Woolsery is The Farmer's Arms, a superb, upmarket but not stuffy, pub restaurant - definitely worth a visit, but you will need to book. Overall, a lovely experience.

Family getaway

We stayed in Rosie's cottage with our two little ones at the end of June for one week. Christina was very friendly and introduced herself later in the afternoon when we arrived. We spoke on the telephone a few days before. A lovely cream tea was left for us. There wasn't anyone staying in Millers cottage so we got to go in the swimming pool whenever we wanted. This was a hit with our boys. They also enjoyed jumping on the trampoline and slide in the gardens. Great location. Nice and quiet and all you can hear is the sound of the many birds. My youngest said hello to the ducks and hen each morning before we went off in the car. Lots of extras included that we had forgotten to pack-tea towels, washing liquid etc. So thankyou! We are looking to stay again with our larger family and would recommend to anyone wanting a nice relaxing getaway with family. Do not ignore Christina's directions to the cottage like we did and follow your Satnav.

Cute cottage

Very cute cottage on a farm. Nice and clean with everything you need.Lovely to hear the birds and cows in the morning. We used the swimming pool which was nice and warm and the games room of an evening. Christina and Gordon were lovely hosts, very welcoming. Hopefully we will stay again in the future.

Relaxing and great value stay

My dad and I had a fantastic stay! The swimming pool and the games room are amazing, the property is really spacious and has everything you need. The hosts are lovely and we felt really welcome throughout.

Beautiful peaceful getaway.

We really enjoyed our first family holiday at Rosie's farm cottage. Chris and Gordon were so welcoming and helpful and the cottage was delightful. They had even put a cot up for us in the master bedroom. The pool was a nice touch for the boys to play in and was nice and warm too. We didn't think about distance to takeaways but actually the village turned out to have a lovely fish and chip shop that also did amazing gourmet burgers. So on the one night we didn't want to cook that was a lifesaver. Nearest town was a good half hour drive due to type of roads. (Not a bad thing just something to bear in mind!) The cottage was a lovely size for us and we all felt happily at home even for such a short time. Would Def consider booking again!

Great place for a family break

This was our second visit to Rosie's Cottage and we will hopefully be back! Our two girls love the outside space and the cottage is presented to a really good standard. The pool is great fun and there are loads of places to visit nearby, even caught sight of some dolphins on a walk up Windbury Head! Thanks very much!
