Town with restaurants and stores is near about 20 min away. Phones (Verizon) worked well at property. Room and bath were clean and everything worked as should. “Found this property on Vrbo when we were planning our trip to Big Bend. Pictures don't do it justice. Very peaceful, quiet, and the views are absolutely stunning. The house itself was awesome, very well designed and very clean. My wife and son of 2.5 years accompanied me on the trip. “You are really by yourself in a lovely cottage in a canyon, you can hear the highway about 1/2 mile in front of the cabin, but you really don't see it, you feel like you are out there by yourself, very nice, nice hiking trail up the hills behind you. Nice front porch and screened in back porch. It rained a lot while we were there, and the rain sounded great on the front porch roof.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the dome. The dome is small but still spacious. There are 2 plug outlets that can hold only cell phone/tablet/watch. No cell phone service (tmobile). The host did a really good job at giving instructions on how to get to the property as we lost cell service. The entrance to Big Bend is 20 minutes. The seclusion of the property was great! I would stay again if we decide to visit another time. ”
