“I enjoyed every minute of my stay. The staff were exceptional, friendly, helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. “Taking its cue from Air BnB , this is a hotel with no Front of House staff and you get sent an access code that works for the front door and your room.
Right from the start you feel that it is going to be different. With a private carpark, accessed via the No Through Road off Market Place, you are in a courtyard with two impressive stone Gothic Revival buildings - the old Sessions House (1841) and the matching County Hall of 1927 - which now houses the hotel.

“The hotel was good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was excellent (119) with king size bed and plenty of room. The bathroom was newly decorated and the shower very good.
The room, corridors and reception area were clean and tidy.
The only negative is that there is no food on site and the leisure facilities are no longer open and will probably never re-open.
Food and drink can be found nearby at The Farrier attached to the Premier Inn which was nearly double the...
“Run by a lovely couple, very friendly and helpful. Our evening meal of steak was cooked to perfection. Lovely to have a bar and to be able to have dinner on site. Tea and coffee provided in the room. Breakfast was cooked to order and once again compliments to the chef!
All in all a delightful stay.”
“Everything was fantastic after we got our key but what happened was it was too much noisy and in the bathrooms there was no hand wash but room wise fantastic had no problem and hopefully there was a fan there because it gets quite hot in there but overall a fantastic place to go to and I go every 1 to 2 weeks and I like that it’s in one place where I got food near me and corner shops so yeh ”
“Really nice place, have a singer and bingo in clubhouse and although we didn't eat there as we only stayed to go to a party nearby, the food looked really good. There's crazy golf as well. ”
“The room was very nice it had a comfy bed hair drier fan kettle tea and coffee a microwave iron and ironing board the shower was ok and nice clean fluffy white towels as I was on my own I felt safe staying there the owner was very nice and friendly I've also stayed at the quayside hotel prefer this one over that ”

Plenty of hot water. Car parking space in front of the room. Cooked breakfast of your choice. Friendly family running the Inn.

"Lite äldre stil på rummen, men rent och fräscht. Nyrustat badrum. Jättetrevligt läge och bra med fri parkering. Väldigt varm på rummet då det var ca 30 grader ute, ingen ca, men fläkt fanns som hjälpte lite. Trevligt att radion med musik var på när vi kom in i rummet. Rymligt med dubbelsäng, skrivbord och soffa. Otroligt centralt läge med mysig uteplats."
