“Beautiful view of the vineyard and an open field from Cottage 2 on our staycation. The fireplace was perfect for a romantic evening cuddled up on the couch (playing Mario cart 😄) By day we explored the local area neither of us drink wine but the area is stunning. “You get the entire detached house next to the winery all to yourself. It may show a bit of age in places, but honestly, it feels almost too luxurious for the price. The house comes with four beds, a dining area, kitchen, living room, a saltwater pool, and even a billiards table. The pool cues are pretty worn out and not perfectly straight—but that just adds to the charm (lol). “Spicer’s guesthouse was lovely, with modern and comfortable rooms and the grounds were very pretty, with manicured gardens and wild kangaroos watching from a distance. The staff were friendly but maybe not always as attentive as they could have been. Given the guesthouse is the premium hotel of the Hunter Valley and was quite expensive I’m just uncertain as to what exactly we paid for.
