âWe had hiked 15 miles so we were just so pleased to get in and have a good shower and a comfy bed.
Just as well we were already awake though as they were sawing up wood to make decking below our room window at 7.15 amâŠâ

âThis is a good, old fashioned pub experience. The accomodation is clean and funktionalitet. The menu offers enough variety and well cooked. The staff friendly but professional. The atmosphere relaxing and welcoming even on busier nights. Whole experience felt safe. Important when travelling with an elderly person. Stairs were managable. â
âWe stayed here for our anniversary. We booked a garden suite where we could park outside and had a little court yard area with chairs to enjoy the summer sun. we had access to the gym and pool, steam room and sauna which was a lovely way to end our day. The staff were helpful and happy to help when we had any questions. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if we were in the area â
âNice place to stay - very convenient for events at Sparkford Hall as its walkable in 10 minutes - comfy family room which was spacious and had the essentials with a nice clean bathroom. Would stay again in the future as it was in quite a nice location.â
âLovely small farm with horses, chickens and geese. Old farmhouse with vintage wooden doors and ceiling beams. Lots of adorable knick-knacks. The room was clean with tea and coffee making facilties. The beds could have been more comfortable. Modernised en-suite with shower. Clean and tidy.
Breakfast was lovely and the host made us feel comfortable, was attentative without being intrusive.
All in all a lovely stay. We recommend it if you like animals.â
