Just 5 minutes from downtown Black Mountain and 15 minutes from Asheville, it's the perfect home base for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. With stylish furnishings, a private wooded setting, and access to Christmount Community amenities, this lodge was made for unforgettable mountain memories.

About the Home
• Well-equipped kitchen with commercial-grade stainless steel appliances, gas range, walk-in pantry, Keurig, and drip-style coffee maker
• Dining area with seating for 8 and nearby island seating for 4
• Living room with gas log fireplace and TV for streaming
• Fully enclosed sunroom with lounge seating and access to the deck with fire table and gas grill. Note: The sunroom is considered a three-season room and is not heated for the winter.
• Lower-level living room with sectional, game table, arcade game, and 85" TV for streaming
• Garage game room with a ping pong table and cornhole boards

• Main floor bedroom with a queen bed; a full bathroom can be accessed from the hallway
• Upper-level primary bedroom with king-size bed, en suite bathroom with rainfall shower, and standing desk with office chair

As a guest at Grey Eagle Lodge, enjoy access to the Christmount Community amenities (subject to availability): ball field, outdoor pickleball court, shuffleboard, sand volleyball, basketball, gaga ball, picnic areas, campfire rings, new playground (accessible directly from Sourwood Rd), and disc golf course. Christmount Community is part of the SAHC (Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy) and offers several hiking trails to enjoy. Note: All hikers are encouraged to register at the Front Office before using the trail systems.

Best place yet!

We have stayed in a lot of mountain houses and cabins over the years with our growing family, and this was the best one yet! We loved the house, the location and Black Mountain. It's just the right size and super easy to get to. We are already thinking of our next visit.

Clean and Spacious Mountain Getaway

Overall great stay. The house was very clean and very nicely appointed. We were a group of 8 family members ranging in age from 13 to 80 (we celebrated my mom's 80th birthday!) and we all had plenty of room. The kitchen was very well stocked so that cooking a meal was easy. We all tended to gravitate to the sunroom to breathe in the fresh mountain air. Love that we could bring dogs but wish we could have had the opportunity to bring 3 dogs (owner was a stickler for the max 2 dog rule) so we ended up having to board ours so that my mom could bring hers. We went to Asheville many times - 20 minutes of highway driving, and to the cute little town of Black Mountain. The TV in the main living room didn't work, but we weren't there to watch TV so it didn't bother us (the rental agency said they would send someone to fix it when I let them know at checkout).

Beautiful home with views of mountains!

Our family had a great time in this well appointed home. Convenient to hiking, shopping, breweries and Asheville. Large space with sunroom and deck to enjoy sunset! Highly recommend!

Enjoyable family getaway!

Our entire family - 6 adults and 2 infants - gathered at Grey Eagle Lodge for our dad/grandpa's 80th birthday celebration. The house was clean, comfortable and very spacious for our group. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and enjoying meals together. Location was great in that we were less than 5 min from town and close to the grocery store. Even though neighbors are very close, it still felt very private. We only wish the weather was better to take advantage of the deck and nearby trails. We had a great time regardless and would recommend this property.

Thanksgiving with Family

This home was great for having all my adult kids under one roof. We all enjoyed Thanksgiving and the neighborhood trails to work off all the food we eat. This area is beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again.
