“Our stay was great! The house was very cute and clean. Hot tub worked great and was nice and hot! Everything was so well thought out. Lots of helpful hints posted around the property and we loved that all the light switches were labeled! The location is walkable to downtown as well, however, the road right in front of the home does not have a sidewalk and can be busy at times. We would definitely stay here again! ”

“This is a delightful place to stay--it's quite close to the town of Black Mountain as well as Ridgecrest Conference Center. It's pet friendly and the hostess is absolutely wonderful. You will feel welcomed and cared for! My only caveat is that for your arrival, try to get there before dark as the back mountain roads are a bit tricksy to navigate and there's not a motion-activated exterior light. Once you're there--the check-in is easy and thereafter you can make a point of leaving the porch...

“We had a wonderful time at the lodge! We all had looked forward to this trip for a long time and it did not disappoint. The house has hidden closets and toilets, many beds and an abundance of beautiful natural light. The hot tub was wonderful and it was already running when we got there so we just had to turn on the jets! The sauna was wonderful. People were able to access the sauna without disturbing anyone's bedroom.Everyone enjoyed their bedroom and we all slept super cozy as the beds are...

“Nice home, but in need of some maintenance and upgrades. Wooden entry stairs need some stabilization and repairs. Inside stair rails need to be secured and checked for safety. Master bath shower spout and handle are very wobbly and need to be repaired, fiberglass shower and tub insert look stained...bathroom facelift or upgrade badly needed. Master bedroom carpet needs to be replaced too...has a slight odor. Master bedroom is very spacious, but the three bedrooms upstairs are small. Very nice...

“Lovely home with lots of charm! The kitchen looks much bigger in the online pics, but we made it work - lots of rubbing elbows :-) Beautiful views but make sure your car can handle the hills up and up and up… and up! Use the directions they send rather than GPS. ”

“Only issues we had and there were only a couple. The ice maker was very slow to make ice. Need tvs in all bedrooms. Mirrors in the bedrooms would be nice and dressers to put your clothes in. But we very much enjoyed this place.”
