“Das Ferienhaus von Marie-Claude ist sehr gut ausgestattet und war sehr sauber. Wir haben drei Nächte in diesem sehr gemütlichen Ferienhaus verbracht und wir haben die ruhige Lage inmitten der Natur genossen. Das Haus liegt perfekt für Ausflüge nach Chambord und Blois. Wir empfehlen das Ferienhaus von Marie-Claude uneingeschränkt weiter und kommen sehr gerne wieder für weitere schöne Ausflüge an der Loire. ”

“This was a great stay! It was luxurious to have so much space! Conveniently located to all the attractions in Amboise, and a winery a literal stone’s throw away. One downside was no internet or wifi, and within the house the signal was poor- had to pop outside a few times when internet was needed. We would definitely stay again! ”

“Hat uns gut gefallen - die Gegend ist wunderbar. Die abendlichen Spaziergänge im Schlosspark haben wir sehr genossen. Die sanitären Anlagen sind etwas veraltet - aber ok.”

“The house is BEAUTIFUL! It is located in the country surrounded by fields, trees and tranquility. The grounds are meticulously manicured. The swimming pool is a perfect way to spend late afternoon or early evening. The interior has so much charm and is beautifully decorated. There are many details and everything you need to enjoy your visit. ”

“Schönes kleines Haus mit sehr schönem Innenhof, den wir bei super Wetter auch gerne genutzt haben. Ruhige Lage in einer Seitenstraße ca. 18 Minuten Fussweg vom Schloss entfernt (Lage entspricht nicht den Angaben). Restaurants und Innenstadt sind gut zu Fuss zu erreichen. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man schnell an der Loire (Loire-Radweg und Schlösser) Können es nur weiterempfehlen.”

“Lovely and very well equipped fire. The pool area is great and secure for children. Kim and Jeremy were extremely welcoming, helpful and very communicative. we stayed with our two very young children and there was plenty of baby equipment (high chair, baby bath, stair gate etc) available. The location is rural but within an easy drive to lots of local amenities and chateaux. Would definitely recommend as a base to explore the area!”

“We had a great family reunion of 3 generations - 9 adults, 3 teenagers and a dog! First impressions was the place is huge, (and the air con was a great benefit.) We picked this house because of the outdoor dining and cooking facilities- the round table was a big plus for family dinners - we made pizzas! The kids enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, table tennis, croquet and we all enjoyed the bikes! Sophie is an amazing hostess and greeted us on arrival, explaining everything. She was there immediately if...

“Lovely spacious house in the grounds of the chateaux surrounded by fields and woodland. The house is well appointed, extremely comfortable and the delightful owner lives next door and made us feel very welcome. No internet connection and having to hire bed linen at an extra cost is unusual in my experience of using VRBO across Europe but nevertheless this is a perfect house to stay in to explore the real beauty of the Loire Valley. And the exquisite boulangerie and patisserie a few minutes walk...

“Place was excellent, great for a cycling trip with work mates. Slight issue when we turned up, but Giles sorted out straight away. Place was great five stars all over. The only thing that was annoying was the flies. Thousands of them. We went out and bought about ten fly strips which when we put up had hundreds of flies on them. Rooms were excellent, massive fire place which was great. Hot water always there and a great swimming pool. It was a bit damp and musky in the downstairs bedrooms....
