High ceiling makes it feel roomy even though it is small, and ingenious layout has separate spaces for everything, which is nice if you want to rise early to see sunrise but your partner wants to sleep in. I loved it so much. Really dark when I arrived—if the exterior light had been on when I got there and maybe one interior one, this would have been a flawless stay. Owner kindly helped me get sorted, but I felt bad bugging her so late. Would...

“Cozy, cute, comfy, private, and tranquil indeed. Didn’t want to stay in busy Lake Placid, which was not too far for me. The sauna and hot tub were a huge plus. 5 stars for two nights. If more nights, it probably would be a 4 star for me because it was not really roomy for me, a big guy. The host communicated and responded well. You can use hosts’ two small kayaks and enjoy paddling in Mirror Lake!”

“Beautiful property! Once you get there (it is a long, slow drive from the main road) the cabin is paradise. Well kept, view over the water, private dock, a small boathouse with everything you need, and the hosts are super responsive when questions arise. Highly recommend.”
