Boho Garden Bungalow: EV charger - Cozy, Comfy, Close to Everything

Boho Garden Bungalow is blocks from Bloomington’s beautiful, vibrant downtown & minutes from IU, yet tucked away off a quiet alley in the historic district. This charming 1920s home has all the beauty and tranquility of a classic English garden outside, and all the easy breezy vibe of a chic Bohemian pad inside. Its open floor plan, 2BRs, 1 bath, and full kitchen has been updated and furnished to optimize comfort, melt away stress, and delight the senses. EV Charger available upon request.

The space
The Boho Garden Bungalow is a quaint, quiet, and quirky older home. It’s loaded with charm inside and out. With hardwood floors, exposed brick chimney and a beautiful cast iron stove as a centerpiece (not functional, but with LED candles for your enjoyment), a fresh coat of paint, and new and vintage laid-back Bohemian decor, it’s sure to become your favorite Bloomington getaway. The gardens are idyllic, with meandering pathways, a solar-powered fountain, a pergola with table and chairs, and an antique peacock swing—all with plenty of shade and solitude. In the heart of the garden is a shed that is an outdoor bar with a Boho flair.

There is a full kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker, complete with a re-usable K-cup so you can use your own ground coffee or enjoy the coffee and tea on the breakfast and coffee bar. Note all appliances are clean and functional but not new. The freezer has an ice maker.

Living room has seating for five. Roku TV provided with some free programming and so you can stream your favorite premium channels on your own subscription accounts.

Bedroom 1 boasts a rich navy color on the walls and a super-comfy queen bed with high-end linens and a gorgeous white peacock scrolled-wicker headboard. There is a chest of drawers if you need space to unpack and a walk-in closet with hangers, blanket and pillows, and a pack-n-play.

Bedroom 2 is decorated with bright colors, small, and cozy with a full size bed. Space is maximized with floating nightstands and dimmable wall lighting. There is an alcove by the closet with a wall-mounted desk and chair (folding, in closet, or you may use a dining chair) in case you need a space to work. There is a small closet with chest of drawers, hangers, blanket, and pillows.

Inspired by the peacock headboard in the master bedroom and the vintage peacock swing, the house and gardens boast peacocks and feathers galore. They are all out in the open; none are hidden so no need to look in nooks and crannies. See if you can spot all of 26 of them! A fun scavenger hunt for the whole family.
Guest access
The entire home, patio, gardens, bar shed, and private driveway (parking for 2 cars) are available for your use. Please refrain from parking in the alleyway behind the house.

You may use the washer and dryer, but be aware that there may already be laundry in them, because I use them to wash linens between guests. If there is laundry in the dryer, please place it on the shelf above the dryer.
