“Cottage was very clean, inviting and unique. Easy access to shops and restaurants as well as National Historical Park. The owners initiated most of the communications regarding check in and check out and communicated both emails and texting. Would love to come back and stay again!!”

“We had a wonderful week staying here, the place was clean, quiet, and had plenty of amenities. The fire pit was a staple in our stay, we used it a few times and had a blast. This place had everything we could've needed. If I had to critique anything, it would be the weird way the kitchen door/main side entrance functioned. It doesn't have a handle on the inside and therefore does not latch when closed. The only way to make sure the door didn't swing open, was to fully lock it which became an...

“Our stay was amazing - beautiful property with beautiful views! We loved seeing deer, view of the the pond nearby and the sky is so clear, you can see satellites and shooting stars very well.The owners were so detailed and friendly to leave treats and firewood for the fire pit on the patio. We stayed outside every evening. We plan to return, as the peacefulness and proximity to local attractions that they even recommended was perfect. Loved this booking! ”

Best Western Fairfax

8/10 Bra

"Vi checkade in på kvällen, då kändes hotellet lite tveksamt. Ingen personal hade arbetskläder på sig och informationen vi fick var minimal. Men dagen därpå fick vi en bättre bild av hotellet och allt kändes bra. Typisk Best Western frukost som var väldigt bra. Fanns olika varma rätter varje dag. Våfflor, frukt, bröd, flingor. Poolen vsr fantastisk! Den var ren och det fanns alltid lediga solstolar. Enda negativa är att poolen öppnar kl 12 på dagen. Rummet med king säng och bäddasoffa bar hyfsat rymligt. Bra kyl med frysfack. Parkering precis utanför rummet. Kändes som ett säkert område och relativt tyst. Många affärer och restauranger i närheten."

"After a long flight from Europe landing late at night it was nice to only have a short transfer bus to the hotel - make sure you go to the right place at the airport to catch the bus, and notice there are 2 Hyatt hotels so you take the right one. Check in was quick and easy - nice big room, it was like a small apartment, very nice if you stay for a while. Breakfast was basic but had all I wanted, nice do-it-youself waffle iron. Didn´t like plastic knife/fork...but thats about all what I have to critisize about ..nice hotel for the money, only a short walk from the trainstation to take us directly downtown Washington. "
