“We had a wonderful stay! There were many nice touches that made this property stand out - well-stocked kitchen, walk in shower with Native products, built in fireplace, a welcome basket. We cooked dinner one night and had everything we needed. Check in process/communication were smooth. Lee and Ian could not have been nicer. Would highly recommend for a small group or couple!”

“This was a graduation celebration trip for my son. We had a great time! Be very careful though cooking outisde on the grill and eating. We did have a bear walk out of the woods on us and we had to run inside. The bear got to enjoy our hotdogs. The cabin was great!”

“Easy to check in the road getting out there is a little whiny but expected for a mountain town overall the perfect stay for my self in the group I was with. And was nice to have Uber and Lyft pick us up to go downtown Boone for a night out”

“We had a wonderful time at Happy Trails. The house was clean and the hot tub felt great. The two wood burning fireplaces are a nice touch. The wifi worked fine and we were able to stream movies and shows on the TVs. My favorite thing about the house was the view of the mountains, wow! We would definitely stay here again.”

“The cottage was very nice and the view is amazing! The driveway could be better marked, as it is quite steep and hard to see - especially at night. Zero cell service, which is understandable, but there is no wifi. The lack of wifi should be clearly stated on the listing. We had to leave early because we had no communication with family/work. Bring toilet paper and paper towels if you’re staying longer than a couple days. ”
