âAlways enjoy our stay at the GW Hotel. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite with a jacuzzi tub â an added bonus! It is conveniently located just a short walk to the pedestrian only downtown shops and restaurants. We will surely return when we are in the area.â
âOur family has visited this location quite often and it seems like itâs falling behind on their cleaning. Several years back my family and I were completely impressed with how well this hotel was kept up in cleaning, smelled pleasant, and excellent staff welcoming guests. For the last two visits we have noticed that itâs not as clean anymore and that fresh clean sheets and smelled in the common areas is lacking attention. We might consider going to another hotel because our travel is pretty long...
âThe hotel is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good and the shuttle service is very convenient and was a nice surprise (they'll take you anywhere within 2 miles and pick you up). The staff was all very nice and helpful. â
âFirst night upon arrival to the US. Very pleased, good service, decent breakfast, comfortable rooms and a staff that wants to help. we where very tired, so the one and nly thing I was missing was an elevator :-) Otherwise very goodâ

âVery cheap hotel. Close to Main Street and we rate this hotel higher.
Breakfast had no coffee even though the one responsible noticed, but did nothing to make more coffee.
You get what you pay for. â
âIt is convenient to the casino and racetrack. The continental breakfast was average at best. For a tremendous breakfast try the Charlestown Family Diner across the street from this property.â
âThe first room smelled of cigarettes but the staff switched us to a new room right away. The second smelled sth else, maybe cleaning products covering up old dirt.
The room felt old and tired.
