“Had a great stay at this very adorable cabin! It’s clean and so well decorated! Had such a quiet and peaceful stay! Only problem we had was the driveway. They had rock recently put down and my car couldn’t get up the driveway. Other than that it was an awesome cabin and we will definitely stay again!”

“We had a great time here. It’s close to Abingdon, Damascus, and the Creeper Trail. My wife went down and had a wonderful time kayaking on the water with her kayak. The kitchen had everything we needed and the Blackstone was a hit with the kids for multiple meals. Looking forward to returning!”

“My husband is disabled and we don't get to get out much this little cabin was just what we needed we sat outside on the porch early morning watching the dark turn into light the sound of the water trees whistling in the wind the Canadian geese were beautiful cabin was so clean and nicely kept and the host was prompt with everything we needed I definitely found our favorite place thanks for making our 29th anniversary a memorable trip ”

“The upstairs one bedroom was great although the steps took some effort. The open living room, kitchen and dining room gave plenty of room to spread out. The porches on each end really added a nice touch as well as the fire pit and stack of fire wood. The walkway to the creek was well done and gave easy access. There was nothing to really complain about but I would mention the water pressure was not high even when we were the only ones staying but the hot water was truly and pleasantly hot. We...

“This was our second stay. The cabin is great. Clean and comfortable. It is an ideal location for a base camp to hike many sections of the AT. We use Boots Off Hostel less than a mile down the road to shuttle us to and from various trail heads.The host is very quick to answer questions. The outside porches are wonderful for relaxing. Watauga lake is just down the road and there are several attractions near by if you want to do other activities. ”
