“We had a great time at FINCA el Refugio de Papito. The experience will stay with our family forever. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. “The house worked well for our family of 5 (two adults and three teens). The outside space was terrific for reading, lounging, and playing cards at the end of our days out exploring. Ate our meals out, but the coffeemaker was way to use and the fridge was nice to hold our drinks and any take out containers. Location is a perfect jumping off point for all of the adventures La Fortuna has to offer!”
