“This place is beautiful, charming, and in a great location! Plus, it’s dog-friendly! If you’re a Gilmore Girls fan, you’ll definitely get a Stars Hollow vibe. The drive up to the inn was really cool with lots of tall trees that made you feel like you were in a forest. There is a quaint little main street with two convenience stores and a few restaurants, one of which was fantastic for breakfast! (Separate review for Howard’s Cafe.) We booked the Ivory room, and the rooms are reasonably priced....

“Check in staff was a little un-hospitable - very transactional. The room was freezing and water would not warm past like warm (over at the Grove). Staff made up for the poor check in experience the next day- extremely warm and professional offering to switch rooms. The Spa staff was incredibly attentive as is the bar staff. The property is adorable- cozy, rustic but high end. The event activities (yoga) are also wonderful! Would definitely stay here again! ”

There was a mix up when i arrived, but it was quickly fixed with a short call to the owners from the gal working there in the restaurant (who was extremely friendly and helpful). “It's a charming hunting lodge from the 1930's converted into a hotel and situated right by the Russian river. The lush garden is absolutely beautiful. The hotel has beach access and provide kayaks and sun chairs and on the big patio there is a hot tub as well as a view over the river. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming. The only negative thing I can say about the hotel is that the windows were very dirty. I will definitely stay here again next year! I'm in love with this place!”
