“Had a wonderful stay and romp in the spring snow. Probably the best appointed kitchen we've experienced so far. House is full of character, quirks and picturesque surroundings as well as thoughtful elements for both humans and canines. Perfect location for exploring, skiing or good old relaxation. Loved the streams, covered bridge and variety of eggs available up and down the road!”

“I’m forever overjoyed with the way people transform small spaces and this cabin is on point! I never even knew the lake was right behind the place! How my dog and I enjoyed our daily walks along the lake road. The lake is a paddlers paradise. Most days I was the only one out there. It IS cabin living so you’ll have some occasional hard water experiences and the fyi g insects are hatching now so they like to visit. Gratefully my dog loves to eat them. Enjoy.! “The house has a beautiful view of the lake and is very clean. It is beautifully decorated, and has all the supplies that are needed for comfortable stay. The owner is very thoughtful and the house is nicely organized. We appreciated the Christmas decorations during our holiday stay, extra towels prepared for the dog and the dog treats. “I can’t say enough about LJ - she was very communicative & very pleasant. Honey Bear cabin was better than the pics. Great place for dog/s to swim - very secluded. Also great for the little ones. You have to go out pretty far for it to start getting deep. It rained most of our stay so we played a lot of games. (some we brought- some she had.) We even played Monopoly in its entirety. “Stayed Fri - Mon over Columbus Day weekend - overall the cabin itself was very nice. Clean, cozy and all the amenities listed. Some things to note: -There’s no dishwasher so bring paper plates and bowls to make life easier! -There’s a washer dryer combo in the kitchen but only the dryer is available for use -The front door is tricky with the lock but you’ll quickly get the hang of it -The shower is also tricky at first but you’ll also get the hang of that! -Not really any closet or drawer space...

“The house is super nice and cozy, but there was a lot of mud in the parking lot, making things quite difficult to pack and unpack the car. The WiFi signal was good, but super low speed. Other than these two things, we loved the place and would recommend it, specially because it is very close to Okemo Ski resort.”

“Kay and Glenn were super nice. Very accommodating to breakfast needs, and gave good recommendations of places to go. Kay made some amazing Blueberry pancakes in honor of my mom that passed. And now she makes amazing red velvet pancakes with icing. Coffee was different every day, and very knowledgeable of area. Will be coming back again. I am from Maine originally, so this felt like home. Very welcoming.”

“The host put a lot of thought into the space, with a cute gift of local maple syrup, a binder full of nearby things to do and restaurants, and overall the space was clean and well maintained. Nice historic location, we had fun walking around the town. This was a fun stay as we drove up for the solar eclipse and drove to our viewing area the next morning. Minus 1 star, because though the home did appear clean, there did seem to be a kitchen mouse. Made the property owner aware of this issue.”

“Our family enjoyed an amazing long weekend at this newly renovated home. The owners, Linda and TJ, were incredibly welcoming, responsive and helpful. The property is beautifully kept and located in a tranquil, wooded setting, perfect for relaxing. The owners really went the extra mile making sure the property was fully stocked with everything we could need along with numerous thoughtful “extras”. “The house was everything we wanted and more. Loaded with space, kitchen supplies, comfort, a grill, gorgeous stone fireplace. The location on. sleepy back road in the woods was beautiful and quiet. The only complaint is that they make you take your trash with you when you go. There was a pass for the local dump which helped offset the inconvenience. Otherwise, A+”
