“A beautiful site with lovely cabins including fabulous bathrooms and a brand new Miele washing machine and tumble dryer! We enjoyed the pool and the bar… a bit random to have the sauna in the office but good experience none the less. The gym was a bit tired and old with limited equipment but great to have a big open shed with a gorgeous view :). A good base to explore Byron Bay & Nightcap National Park.”

“It is exactly what you would expect a country hotel. Extremely clean and very well appointed. Only negative is it’s probably a little over furnished. In the unit we were staying in there was a table and chairs that was not really needed and encroached on the walk ability around the bed. I will just get rid of them. There is already two chairs under a bench with perfectly suit for eating breakfast which is about all you’re going to want you’re not going to go for a full dining experience since...

“Excellent service from John at reception was helpful and offered a number of suggestions. I stayed two nights and mostly walked to everything I needed to attend. The Lismore Gateway Motel was a real find that I wasn't expecting.”

“Our 2 bedroom apartment on 1st floor was clean, well maintained and had a nice big spa bath. Nespresso coffee machine with plenty of capsules provided. Some noise at night, as this is in the centre of Ballina. ”

I loved that the town centre was only a few streets away. We stayed at another hotel after Avlon Gardens with a higher star rating and Avlon put it to shame. I highly recommend Avlon to anyone travelling to Ballina.”
